In March 2021 I had my implants removed, a capsulectomy and a breast lift. I'm beyond happy with my size now, however I'm unsatisfied with the shape of my breasts. I find that the medial part of my lower breast is already bubbling/sagging, and the tissue in general seems flat/shallow and almost appears to be sliding into my armpit area (almost reminds me of a sumo wrestlers chest if that makes sense?). Could I have another breast lift to correct this? TY!
Answer: Mini lift The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lift Yes, you could having another lift to tighten. You also could consider a minimally invasive skin tightening with radiofrequency like ThermiTight. I would suggest discussing this with your surgeon.

Answer: Breast Lift Revision I do see some asymmetry in the photos you have posted. In order to tighten up the skin, it would require another lift. Since you are so early out from your surgery, I would say you should wait until about a year out from last surgery and reassess. At that point I would recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss further what your options are. Hope that helps.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Alexandra Bone, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: To Lift or Not To Lift? Good afternoon, I wouldn't do anything for a full year- it is quite common for the tissue to relax after explant/lift, which is why I usually stage the procedure- explant first, lift later. You likely will need another lift to achieve the best result you can!
