Am I a candidate for BBL? (Photo)

I recently lost 10 pounds due to stress, I was told I qualified for a bbl 2 months ago I was 129 pounds I’m now 5’2 and 121 pounds. I want a nice big butt do u recommend BBL or butt implants

Dear megansheriff,
based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Hi, thank you for your question and photos. You are a great candidate for BBL. Using the extra fat around your waist, a round and well-shaped buttocks is achievable. Remember that when the extra fat is grafted from your waist, it will look thinner as a result your buttocks will look even enhanced and contoured. A better evaluation can be made in person to grasp your expectations and move on accordingly. Buttocks implants can be an option as well but it's solely your decision to make. I’d advise you have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Excellent question! Most patients do qualify for a BBL as long as they understand that some BBLs can be dramatic and others can be subtle. So, even though some patients may not have enough fat for the results they want, I still feel most patients have enough fat for good results. This means that the size and shape of the butt will improve on most women after a BBL. The waist and other areas will get smaller with lipo, so the hips to waist ratio will improve regardless of butt size. Plus, 360 Lipo with BBL reshapes the entire torso, this in turn enhances the patient’s silhouette!

On smaller petite patients, gaining weight before surgery may be necessary as long as they keep the weight after. A BBL result will change due to weight fluctuations. Sometimes gaining a little bit of weight after surgery actually enhances results so do not stress if you feel you might need more fat. Weight gain after lipo BBL happens mostly in places where there is more fat. Basically, your fat cells will increase in size wherever you have more fat. This is good news for most patients in your situation because after a BBL most of the fat will already be in your butt.

Thanks for the question. I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).

Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good candidate for the Brazilian butt lift. The BBL includes 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. So, you would need enough fat in these areas for transfer to the buttocks. Depending on the results you're looking for, I may recommend gaining weight. I suggest you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure the surgeon you choose has extensive experience with Skinny BBLs and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Once in a great while I encounter a patient who does not have enough fat and for which a buttock implant would be a better choice. I frequently offer butt implants and Brazilian buttlift to patients and allows the patients to choose what they would like. I will perform either procedure as long as patients understand the risks and benefits associated with each procedure and make an informed decision.

Hi! I think you are a great candidate. You don't seem to have loose skin and are in a healthy weight. After loosing weight, you are currently in a BMI (body mass index) of 22.1. I have found, in my experience, when you're closer to a BMI of 24, your results are better because there is more fat available to be transferred. It all depends on how much volume you'd like in your buttocks and hips. An option would be to try to gain those 9-10 pounds you lost to optimize your results. Hope this helped!

BBL all day long.  Buttock implants do not change your waist and do not affect your overall body ratios that make a body appear slim yet curvy.  A BBL creates a thin waist and elevates the buttocks simply by liposuctioning the waist area first.  All the best!!

Hello dear @megansheriff thank you for your question and showing your pictures. Yes you are a great candidate for a BBL or fat transfer to the glutes. You can get a better shape, more projection and volume with this technique a mean with lipo injection or BBL. Depending on the implant technique used by the treating physician, the level of resorption would be minimal and the result would be wonderful.
