I have a long Philtrum and would like a lip Lift but I’m worried it might cause me to have a gummy smile. I have quite a bit of tooth show, yet my Philtrum is just too long - 20 mm. Will the amount of skin taken off be made up for in the lips?

The surgery will not have an impact on the activity of this muscle, however too much lifting can result in too much dental show/ show of the gum. Overcorrection would result in permanent dental show.
