Too superficial? I appreciate your question very much. It is too soon after the injection to determine if this is swelling or if the filler was placed to superficially. The careful inspection of the area by your injector tomorrow will help to determine the cause of your issues. Be sure to follow up with your injector tomorrow and not miss the appointment!

If you are only 3 days post having your treatment then it is likely that the lump could be caused from swelling. At our clinic, we advise patients to wait minimum of 2 weeks prior to assessing their result. However, if you are concerned then go back to the clinic who performed your treatment. Hi. Thank you for your question. Lumps and bumps are very common with filler injection, especially lip filler. They usually subside within 10-14 days. If not, you should see your injector again for assessment and possibly dissolve the lump.
