Answer: Filler types Thanks for your question. I would encourage you to see your board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is very experienced with fillers and has excellent credentials and reputation. The lips and tear troughs are advanced areas to inject and should be done by an expert. It's not really possible to make a specific product recommendation without an in-person consult with your physician injector. The complication rate of under eye (tear rrough) injections can be high, and you wouldn't want to have lumps under your eyes or a risk of blindness. Best of luck!

Answer: Ravenesse, Juvederm or Stylage Ravenesse just recently received FDA approval in the USA. I have used it several times now and quite like the way it injects. I have seen far less post treatment swelling with Ravenesse and find it a nice product to use under the eyes, cheeks, lips and just about anywhere. What makes Restylane, Juvederm and Ravenesse different from each other are partly their particular hyaluronic particulate shape. Restylane particles are more jagged while Juvederm particles are smoother. Ravenesse particles are even smoother and spherical in shape. Studies have shown that the more spherical products are not as readily broken down, hence we might expect longer lasting results with Ravenesse. Having said this, it's almost more important to have a great injector than worry too much about the product itself. Placement and artistry along with product selection is what will give you that soft and natural look. I hope you get a great result!
