It is my first time using fillers. My biggest fear is my undereyes/lips will be lumpy! Which product is the thinnest and will give a softer natural look? Dont like lips that look like a hard bubble. Please help! Thanks!
Answer: No to Versa Revanesse on eyelids After a careful review of some of the Versa Revanesse complications reported on realself, I would think twice before having this filler injected into the eyelids and tear troughs. In the USA, I would suggest Belotero or Restylane as a wonderful option. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Improving Under Eye & Augmenting Lips -- Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP, Nova Threads These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Volbella is a thinner filler and long-lasting. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. For under the eyes, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Best Fillers for Lips and Tear Troughs sashd. I favor Juvederm Ultra plus for the lips because it is a bit thicker and lasts longer. Tear troughs can be tricky because the eyelid skin is so thin. Juvederm, placed conservatively deep, on the bone below using a blunt applicator provides the best, safest results for me. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Good luck!

Answer: Filler types Thanks for your question. I would encourage you to see your board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is very experienced with fillers and has excellent credentials and reputation. The lips and tear troughs are advanced areas to inject and should be done by an expert. It's not really possible to make a specific product recommendation without an in-person consult with your physician injector. The complication rate of under eye (tear rrough) injections can be high, and you wouldn't want to have lumps under your eyes or a risk of blindness. Best of luck!

Answer: Ravenesse, Juvederm or Stylage Ravenesse just recently received FDA approval in the USA. I have used it several times now and quite like the way it injects. I have seen far less post treatment swelling with Ravenesse and find it a nice product to use under the eyes, cheeks, lips and just about anywhere. What makes Restylane, Juvederm and Ravenesse different from each other are partly their particular hyaluronic particulate shape. Restylane particles are more jagged while Juvederm particles are smoother. Ravenesse particles are even smoother and spherical in shape. Studies have shown that the more spherical products are not as readily broken down, hence we might expect longer lasting results with Ravenesse. Having said this, it's almost more important to have a great injector than worry too much about the product itself. Placement and artistry along with product selection is what will give you that soft and natural look. I hope you get a great result!
