Hi, I'm 36, and I got 3 syringes of voluma in cheeks 3 months ago, but I find that my Nasolabial folds are deep yet. I wonder if i should fill it with a more soft product... I found a good deal for Revanesse ultra. What do you think about this product and how long does it last in this area? In 6 or 8 months, is it safe to get juvederm or other fillers in the same area? Sorry for my english speaking, my main language is french... thanks for your help!
Answer: Voluma Thank you for your question. In short, yet. Experienced injectors tend to leverage the benefits of different hyaluronic acid gels for the best result that is unique to each patient. Please keep in mind that Voluma is the first facial filler approved by the FDA for the non-surgical treatment of the cheeks. Always consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Best wishes,

Answer: Fillers Hello,Thank you for your question. It is safe to use a different filler in the area. One of the best fillers on the market for that location would be Restylane ReFyne. It improves the area without looking too full. Good luck!

Answer: Can I use different fillers in the face safely? The answer is that many well trained injectionists will use multiple fillers throughout the face depending on your specific needs, the tissue quality, and the desired outcome. In the NLF's, I generally prefer Juvederm Ultra Plus XC towards the top of the fold but do not usually ameliorate the entire fold because it takes away from the look of the overall cheek. As for Revanesse Ultra, this is not FDA approved in the United States and so the physician or injector who is using it currently is actually not allowed to offer this. I would steer clear of this type of "special" and go with someone who has experience and who offers solid results and not just simply good deals. I hope that helps!

Answer: Nasolabial Folds - Lasers like Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, RF like VIVA, Peels, Fillers, Yes, you can change fillers. I can't speak to Revanesse Ultra because it's not FDA approved. However, for nasolabial folds, I recommend a combination approach with fillers for the folds themselves and to provide anatomical support, Sculptra for collagen building, peels and lasers for texture and tone, with radiofrequency/ultherapy for skin tightening. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Is it safe to change the type of filler for the same area after 6 months? Thank you for sharing your question. If you have reached a cheek size that you are happy with you can certainly move forward with additional placement of a thinner filler like JVD into the nasolabial folds to smooth the transition from your cheek to your lip. Due to US restrictions I have never used Revanesse Ultra. Hope this helps.
