1 week post: concerns about my lip fillers, symmetry and possible overfill? Product is Revanesse Kiss. Advice? (photos)

Question

The swelling went down fast. My lips have huge blobs of filler with dents on the sides and two at the front. Bottom lip is crooked. When I smile, my lips look like they've got masses. Especially with a gloss that catches light. The surgeon said "this is a learning experience for us both" as, I guess, she's never done large lips. I dont want to be an experiment. Should I ask for my money back? She touched up a bit, but they look deformed and blotchy. I have to pay more to have it fixed :(

It can take 1-2 weeks for final results with most fillers, however I'm not familiar with Ravanesse Kiss results because isn't FDA approved in the U.S. Since you're unhappy with your final results, I recommend following up with your injector about options for touching up or dissolving. I am not familiar with this product.  You are only 1 week out from your injection. You may still have considerable swelling.  I would not attempt to "fix" it until 2 weeks after the injection in order to assess the final outcome.  You should as mentioned call the orginal doctor to have her evaluate you.  If this is a hyaluronic based filler it can be dissolved or re-injected to give a more smooth and even appearance. Your doctor should "fix" this for you or send you to another doctor who can.  I would not expect my patient to pay for this based on what I see in the photos.  Lips take a lot of skill to inject to , make sure your injector is experienced.

I would call up the original doctor  that did the procedure  and complain that even though she tried to fix it it did not work  period I would then ask that she pay to have another doctor fix it . If she's smart she will say yes. You could ask for a refund as another option. Again if she's smart she'll say yes

You are probably still seeing some swelling from the treatment.  I would recommend going back to the practice that did the orginal treatment for a follow up.  If you are, in fact, uneven ask them to make you even.  They can usually do this by injecting an enzyme to dissolve the current product or they can add some more product.  
Make sure you are visiting a practice with either a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist.
