Difference in 265cc and 280cc Natrelle Inspira low plus?

Thanks for your question! Stick with the 280cc. 15cc’s is basically a shot glass of fluid, but I would imagine that extra 15cc’s is all in width. For someone like you with a wider base width, you will benefit from that. Good luck!

15 mL is equivalent to 1 tablespoon. You probably would not notice too much difference between the two.

Thank you for your question. The difference between these two implants is very subtle, basically just a few millimetres size difference. When you consider that 15cc is about the same volume as one tablespoon, it would be hard for a person to tell if someone's breasts were just a tablepoon larger or smaller. I hope your procedure goes well.

It is unlikely that you will notice the difference in the width of the 280 or 265. Since you are going down 2 cm in projection, it may be wise to go down a bit in width, or you may feel that you have a flat wide breast. You mention your width is 12.8, however the thickness of your breast tissue also plays a role in choosing the implant

I recommend that you follow up with your surgeon's office for sizing visit to confirm your size, that way your tissue characteristics and breast shape can also be taken into consideration, rather than only the numbers.

The extra 15cc drop is negligible. It's one tablespoon. Dropping from 415 to either 265 or 280 is a big decrease that may require a lift if you don't want to do it in stages to allow your breasts to contract. breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Your analysis is correct. It is unlikely that you would notice a significant visual difference between these two implants, however the width of the implant is generally considered very important to achieve the optimal aesthetic outcome. If you trust your plastic surgeon and have shared photos of your “ideal”, then you have to have faith that your plastic surgeon will be able to help you achieve your desired outcome. Thanks for your question. The biggest change will be the initial size reduction from the 415cc to a lower profile much smaller implant. There will be little difference seen between a 280cc and 265cc implant.

No, you will not be able to notice a difference between those two smaller implants. The biggest difference will be going from a full height implant down to a low projecting implant which will be massively different for you. Best of luck! Dr. Boschert
