Was considering a breast reduction. Wanted to know if liposuction could be done at the same time, specifically the braroll and stomach area. My concern is, after a breast reduction you've got to sleep on your back, so would liposuction still be possible at the same time?
Answer: Breast reduction with liposuction It is quite common to do liposuction with breast reduction surgery. Liposuction adds time to the procedure and can require repositioning. These are all factors that must be considered if the procedures are to be done in a combined fashion. Safety is the top priority and there are times when splitting up procedures is recommended. Discuss this with your surgeon. Best wishes.

Answer: Can a breast reduction and liposuction on the back and abdomen be done at the same time? Yes it is possible. Many patients get combination of procedures including the breast and full body liposuction. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.

Answer: Can a breast reduction and liposuction on the back and abdomen be done at the same time? Photos would be beneficial in providing feedback to your questions. These two procedures can be performed by an expert at both procedures at the same time with favorable outcome, one recovery, and less expense. If you have reached a safe, stable weight, and are otherwise healthy, you can be considered for lipo of back and abdomen and breast reduction surgery at the same time. The safe maximum amount that can be liposuctioned in an outpatient setting is 5 liters in one surgery. Lipo is a terrible weight loss tool but a great contouring tool. Most plastic surgeons reserve liposuction for contouring stubborn fatty areas that diet and exercise cannot remove. Swelling and healing as well as scar maturation can persist for 6 months and sometimes up to 1 year following liposuction. PSs have different post-operative protocols based upon their experience and training; some recommend adjustable garments; others, body boards and foam. I recommend following your PS's advice for the best recovery.
