What exactly do you dislike about your eyes? The upper creases are even, the shape is almond, there is not a lot of loose skin, your brows have a nice shape and appropriate height. I can't really see your lower eyelid region. But based on what I see, I think they look attractive and don't let any one tell you otherwise.
Your eyelids look excellent, with symmetry and youthful fullness. Whether a upper blepharolasty would improve this could only be determined in a face to face consultation where you could express what you would like to achieve and your plastic surgeon could tell you whether it could be accomplished. See a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed consult.
In my opinion, your eyes are beautiful. They are nearly perfect. If you feel you have too much fullness in the upper lids, then an evaluation by a specialist is needed to determine if you would benefit from an upper blepharoplasty. You certainly don't appear to have overly low set brows, but you do have a very small amount of excess skin in the upper lids causing a small amount of coverage of the upper lid skin above the lashes. A blepharoplasty can be easily performed in the office to correct this, and downtime is usually only a few days. Thanks for your question.Blepharoplasty is an excellent procedure for decreasing the amount of excess skin and and puffiness in the upper lid. The scars also heal quite well and are frequently difficult to see. After a complete examination, you plastic surgeon can tell you for sure, but removal of just the right amount of skin can produce very pleasing results.Best wishes!Regards,
The eyes look much better when upper eyelid blepharoplasty increases the amount of the visible upper lid skin. This allows for more eye shadow that can be applied and the eyes look bigger as well. The key is conservative surgery that is not over done. RegardsDr. Janjua
The Photographs demonstrate normal appearing eyes, so it's best to leave well enough alone. For many examples of what a blepharoplasty does accomplish, please see the link and video below
Your eyes look great. I would not touch them. I am not sure what you are bothered by. Best of luck..
This is a difficult question to answer without knowing exactly what bothers you now and exactly what your goals are. A conservative blepharoplasty to raise your skin fold (eyelid crease) just a bit may be beneficial, but is definitely not the only option.
13almw, an exam would be needed to tell you what you would benefit from the most. See an experienced specialist. Lots of patients with full upper eye lids the reason for the appearance is due to the inferior to medial migration of the brow/forehead over time. So be open minded. Good luck!
The real question is, what is your goal? If you are deciding between doctors with differing opinions, ask what the lid surgery will do for you. Typically, a blepharoplasty will give you more lid platform. You already have a nice amount of lid platform showing. You look young in your photos, so Botox can lift your brow ever so slightly, and that might be the solution. Before you have any surgery, make sure your surgeon shows you before and after photos of eyelids that look just like yours.
I have never heard of magnesium improving the appearance of festoons, but I'm glad that yours are looking better. My best, Dr. Sheila Nazarian @drsheilanazarian on Instagram
It does look like a rather dramatic change in your eyelids. You might be allergic to the tape or adhesive. This would make them very puffy. Often, the puffiness will subside, but the skin stays stretched out. I would try using cold compresses and avoid any lotions or potions for a week as well....
The eyelids show asymmetry because of ptosis in 1 eye more than the other. We need to see an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation and then surgery to achieve symmetry.RegardsDr. J
