It does look like a rather dramatic change in your eyelids. You might be allergic to the tape or adhesive. This would make them very puffy. Often, the puffiness will subside, but the skin stays stretched out. I would try using cold compresses and avoid any lotions or potions for a week as well....
The eyelids show asymmetry because of ptosis in 1 eye more than the other. We need to see an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation and then surgery to achieve symmetry.RegardsDr. J
