Which would you recommend; 240cc or 260cc for a petite woman (5'2 and 115lbs)? (photos)

I don't think there is a difference between the two implants. A thorough discussion about your goals is needed so online consulations are never adequate. My recommendation would be to go larger as that small of an implant will be a minor change. Look at a lot of before and after photos to get an idea of what your results may resemble. Best of luck!

It is importatn to understand that beauty in the breast does not equate to size only.  SImilarly most women are atleast 20-30 cc different in size to begin with and your differences may be a little greater.  A 20-30 cc is a few tablespoons and is not as apparent as a difference in nipple position or overall asymmetry.  PLease rediscuss with your PS.

20cc is the least of your worries, did you try them on in a tight bra to help you get the feel for your new size? The Vectra 3 dimensional imaging machine may be helpful for you. good luck...

I hear this question all the time, Should I go bigger?  I have to say in my years of practice that most women always say, "I wished I had gone bigger".  With that said, you should go with the 260cc implant, the 20cc difference will not be noticeable to the naked eye. No more risk going with the 260cc than the 240cc implant.  Best wishes with your outcome

The difference of 20 cc is less than an ounce and really truly is negligible.  Differences of 75 cc or more can be detectable and cause differences in size/shape etc.  I would opt for the 260.  You won't regret it.

Hi.. thank you for the question and the photo... In my suggestion you do qualify for 260cc and even a lithe more.. The risk are the same.. but you have some volume already. Result will be great.

My best advice is to go slightly larger.  You will never notice the difference between 240 and 260 in most day to day activities and clothing, but in that range, you will always regret not going bigger.  Best of luck with your surgery!

For the petite woman that we see at plasticsurgeryoahu.com, we are careful to keep their proportions within limits so they don't look top-heavy. But I wouldn't worry about a 20cc difference; it really is a drop in the bucket. And I agree with you, 'when in doubt, it is better to choose the larger size'!
