There is no way to guarantee a particular bra size. Bra sizing varies greatly between bra manufacturers and a C in one bra will be a D in another. What matters more than the assigned bra size is the way the implant looks on you. The best option for your body and aesthetic goals can be determined in a thorough implant sizing session.Implant sizing depends on several factors. One of the most important factors is your breast width. Generally, your surgeon will measure your breast width, and then provide you with a range of implant sizes appropriate for your native breast size. There are more nuances to it than just what I've described, but this approach works for most women.I usually have my patients bring in a large bra and a tight t-shirt to do sizing. I'll then choose 3-4 implants that I feel are appropriate, and have my patients place them in the bra under the tight t-shirt. My patients can then look in the mirror and get a good sense of what they will look like with the provided implant sizes. My patients like this approach and get a great idea of how they will look.By using this technique, your surgeon can outline a range of appropriate implant sizes that will be aesthetically pleasing, and you make the final decision.I hope this helps. Good luck!
Hi there. A two size cup increase is usually the minimum for a breast augmentation and likely to still deliver a fuller look that is still natural and proportional. Surgery revolves more around implant size (based on your own chest wall measurements and goals) than actual cup size goals. That said, it is routine practice during a consultation to try on the desired bra size (eg 34C) and use implant sizers in the bra to work out what feels and looks right for you. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to decipher your picture in, however, in general a C cup would likely be appropriate for you. You would need to have a consultation for precise recommendations and preferably undergo Vectra 3-D imaging and simulation of your postoperative size and results.
The most common request in my practice is an increase to a C cup. I have an array of breast implants and sizers to help determine what you weight be comfortable with in a tight sports bra. The Vectra 3 Dimensional imaging which also has hundreds of preloaded breast implants is also helpful to help you decide what you may be happy with. It is best to be examined by a board certified ASAPS plastic surgeon who would examine your proportions, boney structure, breasts and skin type to help determine what is best for you. Good luck...
I appreciate your concern, but physical exam more helpful. There are a lot of factors involved regarding your decision. Your anatomy and body type versus your desires regarding size. Your surgeon must evaluate all aspects regarding your surgery, and help you navigate all options for you. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, or come see me, for a consultation to evaluate all options to get the best result for you. Good luck!
Thank you for your question and photograph. Based on your picture, it appears that you could comfortably carry an implant to get a C-cup breast. See a board certified plastic surgeon who can help you select a size and profile implant that meets your expectations of an end result.
Dear a_s987,The photo that you submitted is not visible. Going from an A to a C cup with breast augmentation is an everyday occurrence for many thousands of women across the country. Good luck!
It is hard to see your breasts in the photo, but increasing you volume is certainly possible. I would caution that volume of implants do not always correlate to implant volumes.
Cup size is best determined after a formal office consultation. Bring in photos of the look that you desire and a discussion can be held concerning the best implant choice(s).
You need to be seen in person before judging what size to be. It is impossible to know by looking at photos, an in person conslultation is important.
Don't worry, at 13 years old, you still have a few more years for your breasts to continue to grow. Your breasts may continue to grow up until 19 or 20 years old. Keep in mind that your breasts will continue to change over your life time due to changes in hormones, so for example,...
It is important to understand what sagging is and what a breast lift does. Sagging is not the position of the breast on the chest, it is the position of the nipple in relationship to the fold beneath the breast. A breast lift only raises the nipple more centrally on the breast mound, but does...
The only material that should be injected into the breast for augmentation is your own fat. Nevertheless, this is still an unorthodox way to augment the breast with many issues still be worked out. Breast augmentation with implants is safe and predictable.
