My breasts are an A cup. I feel like during my period, they get bigger, and then after my period I feel like they shrink.
Answer: I'm 13 yrs old. Have my breasts stopped growing? Thank you for your question. Although women today are developing at younger ages, it is unlikely that your breasts have fully developedat 13. Most women can continue to develop into their late teens or early 20's. It's difficult to do, but be patient, and give it a few years to see if you have a growth spurt.

Answer: Breast growth Most young ladies have reached their breast growth between 15 and 16, however, a few may take until 20-21. After 21, breast growth is usually due to pregnancy or weight gain. Hormones do play a role in breast swelling and tenderness, especially around your period.

Answer: I'm 13 yrs old. Have my breasts stopped growing? Don't worry, at 13 years old, you still have a few more years for your breasts to continue to grow. Your breasts may continue to grow up until 19 or 20 years old. Keep in mind that your breasts will continue to change over your life time due to changes in hormones, so for example, around your period, they may swell, look larger, feel heavier or be sensitive. Also weight loss and weight gain may also cause your breasts to change in size. ac

Answer: Have my breasts stopped growing? Thank you for sharing your question. At just 13 years old you are still quite young and it is very unlikely your breasts have stopped growing. It is completely normal for breasts to feel more full, tender and sometimes even sore during or before periods and menstrual cycles. Remember that breasts can vary in shape and size and it is not uncommon for your two breasts to look slightly different. I hope this has been helpful and wish you all the best.Brian S. Coan, MD, FACS
