Should I expect for my breasts to bounce back after implant removal? (photos)

Your breasts will retract and rebound to a variable degree. Implant removal (assuming no ruptured silicone) is a relatively simple process with minimal downtime. Hi, you can expect some skin retraction following removal of your implants. The overall breast shape and size will depend on the quality of your skin and the volume breast tissue that you have retained since your implants were placed and you have breast fed your children. Once you have had your implants removed, you could consider letting your breasts settle, and if you were not happy with them after 6 months consider an uplift at that stage.

From what I have noted after many explants is that everyone's results are different and you have to factor in things such as height, weight, age, size of implants. Given your relatively young age, and smaller implants, as well as them being placed over the muscle yield good results as just your skin is essentially holding them into place. I hope this helps!

My opinion is that breast implant removal should be combined with immediate breast reconstruction to reposition the breast tissue and improve the projection of the upper pole and medial areas, in my case, using my BRALAN Technique (Breast Reconstruction Anatomical Lift Augmentation) as the results will be aesthetically adequate and have minimal scarring in the shape of an L. Your breasts will not bounce back after implant removal. I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

From the submitted photos and description of your situation it is unlikely that you'll have significant skin retraction once the implants and capsules are removed. There is no medical concern in not having further surgeries, but you will likely have flat, deflated breasts once surgical healing is completed.

There is no "springing back" since the implants have stretched and thinned your own breast tissue. You will not look like you did before surgery since you will have stretched skin. If you have fat, it could be transferred to give some added volume, but not like the volume of 300 cc implants.

I think the first step is to make absolutely sure you do not want to maintain breast implants.
If you do, then you should not undergo explantation.
This includes the possibility of needing to accept your breast as looking deflated and possibly disfigured.
If you have significant capsular contractions, then explantation with a complete capsulectomy may be your best option.
If the outcome leaves, you disappointed and you change your mind and want implants again it may be a difficult road with high likelihood of further need for surgery and multiple revisions.
I’m not sure what you are hoping for but recognize that if 90% of your breasts are implants you’ll be left with 10% of what you currently have.
Explantation without Capsulectomies can increase the chance of post operative disfigurement.
Seek council from highly experienced plastic surgeons with decades of implant surgery experience.
You do not want to have explanation then change your mind. This happens.
Added complexity increases the chance of poor outcomes, more surgery and possible eventual failure.A well done explanation with proper management of your capsular contraction should leave you just looking deflated with little to no breast projection.
If you’ve not had a current in person consultations, then that would be the place to start.
If your previous provider is still in practice and try to get copies of your medical record, including before and after pictures and copies of your previous operative report.
