I had a mini lift yrs ago. Very small result and it left scars with pulling at one ear. I should've waited longer. I'm 45 now and my skin is youthful. I'm interested in a lift, but not too far from home, which is TN. I'm not impressed with doctors in my town. I want to look natural, not pulled. A doc took out the fat pad under my chin. I'm thinking my muscles are too lax in my neck.

Answer: Mini lift Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your limited photographs, you are a great candidate for a mini lift. In order to fully evaluate you for surgery, an in-person consultation would be most helpful. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: MiniLift? Thank you for your question and photos. Without seeing your mid face and jawline its hard yo give you a very precise answer but typically a mini lift does not provide much correction for sagging tissues in the neck nor does it allow you to treat the platysma muscle. In order to correct the issues in your neck a lower facelift or neck lift would be indicated at the minimum. Its possible that you might benefit from a standard facelift but its not possible to say without more views. I would recommend you have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so you can have a complete analysis and detailed physical examBest of LuckDrG
