Super happy with the results he exceed my expectations. Dr Gibstein and staff located in Bay Harbour, Florida offers an amazing service and deserve 10 stars reviews. Forever grateful. 100 porcent recomended
Dr. Gibstein has been my plastic surgeon for 20 years. I am 48 years old and he has enhanced me through the years from minor and subtle injectables ( he is the best at this)to now my face and breast lift. Very skilled and having a keen eye for assessing what needs to be done, his surgeries will not leave you looking distorted, disproportionate or pulled. My facelift left me looking refreshed and rejuvenated without looking fake with that"wind tunnel" look. He is conservative and honest in assessing what your needs are. I am extremely happy with my facelift and breastlift. I highly recommend Dr. Gibstein. He will leave you looking radiant!
I’m a little confused about all the great ref reviews this Dr. Gipstein has received. I’m a 22-year-old female who had lost and gained weight. I wanted fuller breasts. . I first just wanted implants, but he insisted that I needed a breast lift. We did a lot of research and thought we’d found the right doctor. I actually waited until I was 20 because I wanted to be ready and wanted to do the research. Dr. Gipstein, set up most of the appointments via zoom. He seemed to be in a hurry, which should’ve been my first flag. When my mother and I got there for my appointment, they had not ordered the saline implants and only had silicone. They insisted that they would be better and that nobody got saline. Again another big flag that I chose to ignore because I was on school break and really wanted to get this done. We spoke to him repeatedly before I even got there about my nipples and having them the correct size and the correct placement. My mother asked if they had a table that would lift me up so they could see the way the breast implant was placed in my chest when erect and how it looked. He quickly dismissed her and was determined to use his old methods of measuring Now, I’m still having pain over Year after, my breast implants are too low And have been since the day he put them in. My nipples are way too high and point up to the sky. They stick out of my shirts, swim suits and bras to top it off. My scarring is awful. You can see where the sutures went in and out kind of a Frankenstein type of look. I could cry a million tears because I’m so frustrated and I’m going to have to have somebody else do it because I’m too scared to go back to him. I did this to make me feel better and more confident, and all it did was make me feel worse. I’m going to have to pay again to have this fixed. I’m heading back up to Midwest. Believe me when I say my breasts weren’t that bad and I would take them back over his surgery results. I think the most frustrating part is that he poo-pood every concern that I had and everything I was worried about is what happened. I have to have a pretty significant surgery to place the implants up higher in my chest. They are not bottomed out. They were placed too low to begin with not enough structure was put in place to hold them. There isn’t a lot they can do to move my nipple down because you can’t put skin on top of it. I would just have to take more skin from the bottom of my breast, Honestly there’s really nothing they can do for the scarring other than to literally cut my nipple off again and then sew it on in a more precise, polished professional way. And to top it all off, I’m going to have to be put to sleep again, miss work and pay again for my breast to be fixed and pay even more because it’s a reconstruction .
On July 5th I went to the office of Dr. Lee Epstein to receive Botox. We did the treatment around 4pm. By 8am the next day I knew something was wrong and quickly called his office and spoke with Rosie the secretary. I explained to Rosie that my eyebrow was to dipped down and also something was wrong with my eye lid. I was not able to get my eye liner on as usual and requested to have the Doctor call me back. Shortly after he called and I went to see him @ 3:30 pm. When I went into his office. He didn’t even sit me into a chair. He immediately got very defensive. He looked at me and gave me a whole speech on how I would be the first woman in history with Botox working within the first 24 hours and blah blah blah. "Whatever was happening with your eyebrow was not due to Botox!!!” I also called him when I two days later concerned with the appearances of my dropped looking eyebrow and both eye lids! The more and more we spoke, The arrogant and defensive he became. He asked for pictures of my past. I gave him everything he requested. He questioned a lot of the pics partially because I look so good LOL. Well, now we have a bigger problem. On July 10th, I woke up with the most excruciating migraine I've ever felt. Vibration in my forehead and double vision in my left eye. Since that day I've been home bound in my dark room. I'm currently unable to squint, therefore I cannot open my shades or leave the house on a sunny day, even with sunglasses on. After seeing a NYC neurologist, Dr. Joey Safdieh of NY Cornell, we realized that the problem with my eyebrow dropping and the excruciating pain was a result of him hitting a nerve in my forehead. Now I have nerve ending pain which I cannot get relief from. I am on major pain medication. I am taking nerve pain medications, prednisones, sleep medications, anti migraine meds as well as Tylenol w/ codeine and nothing stops the vibration in my head. All these inhibit me from driving, but I can't leave my room anyway. I constantly feel drugged up and lethargic and I'm still in pain. I had to cancel a trip planned with friends abroad. What upsets me the most how ARROGANT Dr. Gibstein was when he told me "Sweetie, put on some makeup and try to go out." Thanks to this procedure my summer normally spent with family is now sitting in my dark room in seclusion. Updated on 21 Aug 2017: 6 weeks-4 days-- later STILL going to the neurologist in NYC----- STILL SUFFERING with numbness and vibration in my head!!!!!!!!! Still INCREASING MEDICINE---- Bottom line----- still MISERABLE!!! BTW-LOL DR GIBSTEIN called me last week, AND INSTEAD of being sympathetic or understanding or sorry of the situation he Insists that this is quote "IMPOSSIBLE "------ To which I replied "then what happened to me on July 6 ?"
Thank you for your question. Most patient look great after a Mini Facelift with ancillary treatments by 2 to 3 weeks. This is a huge family event and you want to look your best which makes perfect sense but that said ABSOLUTELY do not do the procedure! This momentous day deserves your full attention and you want to enjoy every minute. Any set back, minor or major, would be a shame and take away from your evening. If you are a candidate some well done fillers and neurotoxin Botox or Dysport) might be great options to help you look your best. In my opinion enjoy the night and put this off for another time.Best of LuckDrG
Thank you for your question. I don't believe there is definite answer and surgeon preference usually dictates course of postoperative treatment. I would follow your surgeon s advice. IN my practice it depends on the location and size of the scab. Very small superficial areas I usually recommend swabbing with alcohol and allowing a small scab to perform. The tissue beneath will usually heal and the scab will separate naturally over a week or so. This seems to heal more quickly and less fussy. The scar tends to be minimal. The important point is to not pick so that you minimize trauma and don't create a chronic wound. For larger more complicated areas Aquaphor or Polysporin may be more appropriate. Best of LuckDrG
Thank you for your question and photos. There are several options that wile of help. From minimally invasive perspective Kybella is an excellent option. Its an enzyme injected into the central neck to treat submental fat. Often two treatments are required but this can be an excellent option. From the surgical camp submental liposuction is a great method to remove fat and contour the neck and jawline. The procedure can be done under local anesthesia with a predictable result and very expeditious recoveryBest of LuckDrG
Thank you for your question. All types of facelifts interrupt sensory nerves that result in postoperative numbness. Over time these sensory nerves usually heal and sensation returns over time. Typically the central face has return of sensation first and then it moves out towards the periphery around the ears. While most patients feel that there sensation does return to normal some do feel that they have some degree of numbness that persists. Sensation changes can take up to a year and occasionally longer to resolve.Best of LuckDrG
Im sorry that you have had so many issues with the HA fillers. Usually, when done with experienced injectors, the results are natural long lasting and patients are very satisfied. The notion that Vitrase ruins faces simply isn't correct. Cutting out nodules that should resolve on their own doesn't seem warranted. I would suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who have extensive experience with injectable products so you can be guided and treated in the proper mannerBest of LuckDrG
