What is the difference between Inspira and Mentor implants?

Thank you for sharing your question.  Inspira implants are made by Allergan and fall under the Natrelle line.  There are 5 different profiles and implants diameters increase by 2.5mm, affording great flexibility.  They also have a higher silicone gel fill, approximating 95-99%. Mentor produces the Memory Gel implants which have a lower silicone fill level, have 4 profiles and more irregular size increase in diameter.  Both products work well for patients, so it is important to match an implant to your chest and not the other way around.  Hope this helps

What is the difference between Inspira and Mentor implants?

Thank you for your question.  Inspira implants are made by Allergan.  When you compare the Allergan Natrelle implants to mentor implants, the mentors have a higher fill volume.  The Natrelle Inspira implants have a higher fill volume than the regular Natrelle implants, to they are more similar to the mentor implants.  Both are cohesive silicone.

Inspira implants have high fill volume ratio

Allergan's Inspira implants have a higher fill ratio than Mentor's implants. What this means is that when silicone implants are made, the amount of gel placed into the implant is less than the actual volume of the shell; they do this so that the implants feel softer. However, lower fill percentage implants tend to ripple more, which is one of the reasons the Inspira line was developed. It also has 5 profiles to choose from so more fine-tuning options. Sientra also has high fill ratio implants.
