About 2.5 years ago I got 700cc mentor implants (high profile) which made me a 36DDD. I was a natural small C cup with not much volume on top. I'm looking to downsize to a more natural look without a lift! Would it look OK if I switched from my 700CC high profile to the 350CC mod or would this be too big of a change and cause my breasts to look deflated? I'm looking for a natural looking full C or D at the most.
Answer: Downsizing is a good option Thanks for your question and the photos. I think decreasing the volume of the implant will make you look much more natural. The overall breast shape is determined by the amount of gland you have and the size of the implant. It sounds like you had a fair amount of gland to start with and so a 350CC implant will probably still give you plenty of fullness but of course it will be less than you have grown accustomed to. It appears that one side is larger than the other. I would suggest finding a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is an ASAPS member and specializes in cosmetic breast surgery. The Smart Beauty Guide is a good resource. Best of Luck!

Answer: Lift A reduction of this volume will most likely require a concomitant breast lift. You already have grade 3 skin laxity

Answer: Breast implants sizing for breast implant exchange Hi, Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. It is important to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and concerns. Having said that, as a rule of thumb you will not be able to see a difference in breast implant appearance unless you go up or down at least 75-150 cc. The height, weight, frame and current implants and desires are what really pushes the meter. So a small framed women with 300cc ranged devices should be able to see a change with 75 cc. This would be the case if she wanted to fill out the bras better and not necessarily go to the next bra size. If she wanted to go up a size and fill it out, it may be 150+ cc to achieve that. A larger women with the same sized implants would probably not even notice the 75 cc bump. So their scale would shift and she may need 125 cc to notice some difference and even more to go up and fill the next bra size. So it is not a cut and dry situation. You would be best served going to see a plastic surgeon personally to get the best advice after examination and discussions about what your goals are. Best wishes, Dr. Michael J. Answer: Downsizing implants Hi, serdeluz. Thanks for your question and photos. Your implants can be downsized for smaller, more natural size and shape. However, you would need breast life (mastopexy) at the same time. Please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon to be evaluated in-person. Best regards.
