Some degree of facial asymmetry is very common and appears in almost everyone. This tends to be most noticeable around the eyes. There are no great options to improve overall eye position as this is based on the underlying bony anatomy. In some cases, injectable products like fillers in certain areas around the eyes can help to improve overall facial symmetry and aesthetics. For the hollowness of the upper eyelids, there are some doctors who perform filler injections or fat transfer to the upper lids. This is not something that I usually perform due to the fact that it is difficult to make the area appear natural, there are risks involved, and these areas may become heavier as we age, which might be made worse by adding volume. All the best,
Hello Original34, Your eyes do look slightly hollow for your young age. Fillers or fat work well. They will make your eyes look a tad smaller, so take this into consideration before proceeding. The hollow eye does increase the apparent age of a person. Hope you are able to get the result you are hoping for.
You do have a very hollow upper eyelid sulcus. Some HA filler such as Restylane can help to add volume so that it won't look so hollow. It should last about 1.5-2 years in this area. It is a tricky area to fill so make sure you go to someone with a lot of experience with fillers around the eyes.
The hollow upper eyelids can be safely and effectively filled and improved with filler injection. I am not sure about the eye asymmetry as it needs more detailed exam.
The best option for you is facial fat grafting through which your face and area around your eyes can be filled and reshaped to create a more youthful and symmetric result. I use a principle and technique called "Aesthetic Facial Balancing" to harmonize the face and create a naturally beautiful appearance. Filler products can also be used but gets very expensive. I hope this helps! All the best,Rian A. Maercks M.D.
Thank you for your question. You do have a hollow upper sulcus. This is unusual for a 34 year old but I have seen this before in young people. Filler is a good option to add some volume.
With Medicaid... requires that you get a visual field exam to document visual field loss and then a surgeon that participates with Medicaid. Or you can search around for a surgeon that would do it for a reasonable cash fee (as it only takes an hour or less under local). In my practice, we h...
Hi and thanks for your question! A lateral canthoplasty/pexy can give you a positive canthal tilt however it does come at some drawbacks. Namely it will tighten your lower eyelid and may change the shape of your eye opening to a slightly wider and thinner appearance (ie more asian a...
Thank you for your question. Since the allergy only happened once and it was only a week ago I would wait to see if the wrinkles go away. In my expereince permanent wrinkles from allergies develop over years of chronic attacks.
