My ace bandage was placed wrong in the O.R and for 2 straight days I delt with intollerable pain & muscle spasms but I was told to 'keep the ace bandage on' for 48 hours. Now that it's off my breast (rt side only, where the spasms were) is ROCK hard (10x harder than the other breast), tender to the touch and significantly higher! The extreme hardness has me concerned! Could this be a capaular contracture so early in the game?

Answer: Breast Augmentation with Issues Sorry the here about your difficulties. Ideally the nipple-areolar complex is centered over the breast mound. While the pectoralis muscle can spasm after surgery and cause the implant to ride higher than desired, your photo clearly represents something else going on. Return to your surgeon for further examination. All the Best.

Answer: Problems After #BreastAugmentation From your photo, something is clearly wrong, but there is no way to tell without a pre-op photo. It is impossible to have a capsular contracture 2-3 days after surgery, but you could have a hematoma. I would recommend following up with your surgeon sooner than later to better understand your situation. Continue to follow up with your surgeon to ensure that you progress as planned. Best of luck, Vincent Marin, MDSan Diego Plastic Surgeon
