Amazon surgeon I alway thought I’d go with a older surgeon just because you always feel like they have the most experience but dr.jean was truly impressive I actually had 3 consults first one I didn’t like second one was dr.jean third one was cancelled I knew he was the surgeon to give me the result I was looking for and he did I’m extremely happy with my surgery my incision look so tiny he is very comforting along the way and Kristen was an absolute gem I’m still only 4 days after surgery so I don’t want to post pictures just yet but I had to post what an amazing surgeon this man is Updated on 20 Sep 2024: Omg I’m so in love with my breast there starting to drop my left is still not as dropped as other but I have faith it will get there there starting to jiggle my left underarm is still numb as of now I’m in a E bra which was my goal but I really don’t even wear bras anymore maybe a pasty and that’s it I do wear my band at bedtime to try to get my left down more
Dr. Jean was the on-call surgeon covering for my own surgery on a holiday weekend. He was patient, kind, and took the time to have me come right into his office on a Sunday morning And take care of an urgent issue. And he’s not even my primary surgeon! He was kind, soft-spoken, and made me feel that I hadn’t done anything wrong. I feel much better now and I would recommend him to anyone.
I LOVE Dr. Jean!!! I could not have chosen a better plastic surgeon to do my breast augmentation. He is worth every dollar of what I paid. Dr. Jeans work is impeccable. 3 weeks post op now with 800cc implants and he gave me the EXACT look I was going for!!! He assured me and gave me hope for what I wanted and he came thru with the results. My incisions are super small and so clean! I could not be happier. He also makes himself available to me any day or night that I need him even on weekends! So thankful for him and his amazing team. This entire procedure has been a breeze and I wouldn’t choose any surgeon over him! I also have to give a special mention to his coordinator Kristin!! She’s amazing and makes me feel so comfortable. Main Line Plastic Surgery is a fantastic practice. 10/10.
Had my consultation with Dr Jean in Bryn Mawr and it went as planned. He and hi assistant Kristen were great. So great that I canceled my 2nd scheduled consultation or another doc. Paid the deposit and surgery is scheduled for June 10, 2022 Updated on 15 Jun 2022: Dr Jean spent plenty of time with me along with his coordinator Kristin. Answered all my questions and even mentioned things I didn't think of. I received a "mommy makeover" and I use quote b/c I don't have kids, I just lost s god deal of weight. I had mastopexy with a moderate HP 420cc gummy bear implant, lipo of the flanks and a abdominalplasty w/ muscle repair. I love how all their cost are inclusive so the surgery fee, anesthesiologist and hospital fees are included as well as if you require another surgery. Dr Jean and his entire staff were a amazing and have been on call For me since the day I had my initial consult and every day since my procedure on Friday June 10, 2022. I can't wait until a bill of the swelling goes down and these titties pop the way they're supposed to
Surgery was 9/20/21. Today is 9/21/21. And let me just say OUCH!!! Hole cow. I have yet to see them but I can already tell I will love them!! Can finally shower tomorrow night. (48 hours)! Truly can't believe this day has come! Updated on 24 Sep 2021: I had to wait an extra day to shower, only because I was feeling a little unstable from the pain meds. I normally only take Tylenol. So switching to a narcotic was a bit of a stretch for me, but definitely a very needed one! I am already in love with these girls! Updated on 24 Sep 2021: Waking up stiff and sore. I am a stomach sleeper. Like face down flat on my stomach. So sleeping semi reclined on my back has been killer. I’ve had to use a heating pad to fall asleep. I started only taking the Oxys right before bed to help sleep. Antibiotics twice a day and a Valium in the morning to help with the tightness. (425cc gummy bear high profile Mentor, under the muscle) Updated on 27 Sep 2021: Too sore and stiff. No pain meds besides Tylenol, and a Valium in the morning to help with the stiffness. Updated on 27 Sep 2021: No big changes yet! But definitely love them! Updated on 27 Sep 2021: Day 7! Finally got to see my incisions! Yikes! Right is still higher but not much! I can’t believe these are mine! Finished all my antibiotics, no more pain meds and using arnica for the bruising and swelling. Still stiff and sore. Range of motion is getting better. Tried to wear a regular t shirt but I got literally stuck in it trying to take it off. I’ll hold off on anything that requires lifting my arms to remove. Updated on 28 Sep 2021: No huge change! Still loving! Updated on 1 Oct 2021: Not much change, I can’t wait for them to start dropping more. I still haven’t seen my scars. Steri strips are still holding tight. Should be a couple more weeks before they fall off naturally. Updated on 4 Oct 2021: I love them! But this band is driving me crazy. I know it’s only been 2 weeks, but I wish this right one would drop a bit! Anyone else have a stubborn boob? Or have 1 that took longer to drop? They are still rock solid so I know it’s still early! Also already loving them in a bikini! Come on drop and fluff!! Updated on 11 Oct 2021: Twins are 3 weeks old today!! Not much has changed. My right is still stubbornly higher but is starting to drop! Instructed on how to massage it to help get it come down. He even told me I could try sleeping on my stomach, which could help them drop and fluff. They are so hard still so I don’t think I’ll be able to do that comfortably yet, but this stomach sleeper is excited to try! He removed my steri strips and clipped my dissolvable stitches so now they are only internal and not hanging! Seeing my scars for the first time was scary but I was in disbelief at how great they are!!! The right has a bit of dried blood and a little puckered due to the stitches inside but I think they look amazing! I’m so happy! Still wearing my band, but now I get to wear it more loosely. I couldn’t have picked a better surgeon, I’m so happy with everything. Updated on 27 Oct 2021: Long post. So I’m sad. I am obsessed with my girls, but I’m having some regret. My LEFT boob is everything my dreams are made of. It’s perfect, it’s soft, fluffy, my nipple is placed beautifully, and it feels like it’s been part of me forever. It’s everything I wanted out of my wish boobs. With that being said, my RIGHT boob is literally my worst nightmare coming true. It’s hard, won’t drop and beyond sore, uncomfortable to move, when I breathe it feels tight and pulls oddly, and pushes uncomfortable into my chest. My nipple placement is low, and it’s about a half a cup size smaller because of the fluffing of my left one. Which is odd since that one was “bigger” pre op. I look like I have 2 completely different boobs on my chest. I hate how insecure, sad and worried it’s making me. I’m still “early” but I just have this gut feeling it’s stuck like this. I’m feeling all the early signs of capsular contracture, which sucks because I specifically went UNDER in hopes of preventing that. I see my PS in a couple weeks, and it can’t come soon enough. Maybe by the 6/7 week mark things will change. Anyone have this happen and it worked out in the end? Updated on 16 Nov 2021: 8 weeks has flown by! Not much has changed, right one is still higher, but much better. They feel much softer and squishy. I have days when I wish I would have went a tad bit smaller at times, but not often! I’ve been sized at a 32 DD(E). Although I prefer a 34, I hate how tight the band is on the 32’s. I normally just wear a comfy sports bra or bralette. I was wearing a large, but the mediums are fitting better now. I think the swelling is completely gone finally! Had my 7 week post op last week and Dr. Jean said everything looks great! So I will see him again in February! Updated on 8 Dec 2021: The twins went on vacation!!! Haven’t taken many progress pictures lately but these are a few from wearing a bikini for the first time! I love them so much!! I felt so comfortable in a bikini for the first time, the boob to rib ratio was so amazing!!! First time I haven’t felt insecure because my ribs stuck out further than my boobs!!! Best decision ever. Get the boobs! Updated on 24 Jan 2022: I’ve made it 4 months and 4 days! I am obsessed! So happy I made this decision. I was so nervous at first, I let myself get overwhelmed with the healing process. I forgot to think of each side healing from its own surgery. I am happy to announce that my right has pretty much caught up with my left! It’s definitely still higher, but I am extremely right side dominate so that muscle is taking longer to relax and drop my implant. I haven’t done much as far as scar treatment, but they sit perfectly in the crease so I can’t see them. I am going to try to be more vigilant on scar treatment. Updated on 4 Feb 2022: Had my 4 month post op on 4/3. Can’t believe I don’t go back for a whole year!! These babies are officially all mine! I can’t remember life without them. These babies are the best. Updated on 4 Feb 2022: Can’t remember life without them Updated on 3 Mar 2022: Consider this my 6 month update. Probably won’t do another one for a while. Best decision ever. Started working out again. Thank goodness!! The weight I’ve gained should be illegal! Ha! I was concerned about my right dropping but it’s evened out so much. I have realized my right areola is bigger than my left, which messes with how they appear to be settling. I love the way clothes fit, and just how I feel about myself! I am a 34 DD, I don’t see my size changing anymore which is perfect because it’s exactly what I wanted to be! Updated on 3 Mar 2022: Did I mention I absolutely love how my clothes fit these days?!? Updated on 16 Mar 2022: Some people have asked for before pictures. Here are a couple, and 1 current after. I will be 6 months post op on the 20th. Updated on 15 Jul 2022: Thought I’d give a little update! Made it almost 10 months! Love love love!! I was worried about going with the biggest size I could fit. Sometimes I wish I would have went smaller, but not often. I am so happy and more confident in clothes. Although- Sometimes I get a bit self conscious when I feel like they are too big for situations, family weddings, or meeting new people. It’s weird because I feel like they’re bigger than what people see. Ha! But I wouldn’t change anything! The weight I put on after surgery has helped make them even more propionate to my body. But I’m ready to lose that weight now! Updated on 27 May 2023: I feel like I was born with them. 100% natural feeling and look. I am so happy with them. My scars are completely nonexistent as well.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Jean. He exceeded my expectations. His bedside manner is incredible and he was soft spoken, responsive at any hour day or night. His staff genuinely loved working for him and he treated me and everyone else with respect. My results are something I’ve wanted since adolescence and I could cry I am so happy with his work. Medium profile, silicone, 250 cc each, Mentor implants. I breastfed my babies for years and honestly my boobs looked better AFTER nursing, even though they didn’t look great. I never developed breast tissue before pregnancy. I am so happy to have the natural look I’ve always wanted. Updated on 25 Oct 2021: I updated the title as I realized it was actually 225cc’s not 250, but still the results are huge. I went from a 32/34B to a solid 32D. I had my measurements taken at Victoria’s Secret and my 32D fits like it was made for me. Scars are still slightly visible but I’m so excited about how everything is feeling and looking.
I had a breast augmentation and lift with Dr. Jean and could not be happier. I searched for months for a reputable doctor with beautiful work and he stood out by a long shot. My initial impression was with his receptionist and employees in calling and emailing before I scheduled my consultation and EVERYONE who works there is so kind and professional. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Dr Jean is it extremely professional and knowledgeable. My recovery was as expected and I was seen a lot at his office to make sure I was healing fine. He gives strips to promote the best healing/fading of the scars. He takes zero short cuts and it’s shows in his work. Honestly could not have asked for a better experience. I knew I wanted this for so long, I’m only 30 but breast fed both my babies and that took a toll on my breasts. I have more confidence than I ever have in my life and would do the surgery over again. I look forward to using Dr. Jean in the future and recommend him to everyone. He’s a magician!
I had a great experience with Dr. Jean and the staff at Main Line Plastic Surgery. I had always wanted a chin augmentation, but was pretty nervous about the procedure. It took me a while to get the courage to even call for a consultation, but was happy I did. Dr. Jean took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns before and after the surgery. I love the results and it has definitely been a confidence booster for me.
Dr Jean at Mainline Plastic Surgery in Bryn Mawr PA did my chin augmentation and liposuction in December. I can't believe how much better and more balanced my face looks! The recovery was a breeze and only took a few days for pain to subside. I 10/10 recommend this procedure if you are unhappy with a weak chin or jawline!
I’m in love with my new boobs! Let me start by saying that this was a procedure that I have wanted for many years, but was a little too scared to go through with the process. I went to several consultations and even considered going out of state for my procedure, however, when I met Dr. Jean, I knew that choosing him was the right decision. He answered all of my questions and concerns, he helped calm my nerves and was available whenever I needed him. Not only was he amazing, but so was his assistant Kristin. They both gave me the attention I desired and that was most important to me. I didn’t want just anyone performing a procedure on me, I wanted to build a relationship with my doctor and his team and they made that easy. If anyone is considering a breast augmentation or any other surgery, please reach out to Dr. Jean. I promise you sill not be disappointed.
Great question! There are several different techniques that may be used depending on your unique needs and goals:
it appears from your photos that you have a degree of tuberous or constricted breasts. your best results would come from breast augmentation with implants to maintain the shape of your breasts and scoring of the glandular tissue to allow breast tissue to lay flatter on the implant giving a less constricted appearance. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Fat grafting would likely not correct the shape of your breasts. Raymond Jean MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Bryn Mawr Philadelphia PA
Bottoming out is usually best corrected with capsullorhapy tightening of the inferior portion of the capsule around the implant for added reinforcement acellular dermal matrix is often used. depending on the amount of excess skin, excision may be indicated. it would be good to compare your preop photos as you did state you had breast asymmetry prior to the procedure. Make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck Raymond Jean MD Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Bryn Mawr, Philadelphia, PA 19010
Final appearance of your breasts can take 3 months or more after breast augmentation surgery. The larger the implants and the smaller the breasts the more time it will take for the implants to "settle" The implants are not really settling what is happening is the overlying skin and muscle relaxing so your breasts take on a more natural shape and soften. Breast band can sometime speed up the process. Best of luck with your recovery. Raymond Jean MD Board Certified Plastic surgeon Bryn Mawr, Philadelphia PA
A mastopexy or breast lift is used to correct droopy breast, at the same time inverted nipples can be corrected surgically. There are several different types of breast lifts. Many patients focus on the length of the incisions or scar and forget that the main purpose is to reshape the breasts. A periareola mastopexy uses an incision only around the nipple but is limited in the amount of lift achieved. A Lolipop or vertical pattern mastopexy can provide much greater lift to the breast but without the need for the incision in the fold under the breast. Lastly the traditional anchor or inverted T mastopexy incision provides the most lift and opportunity to sculp the breast. A board certified Plastic surgeon can discuss all these option and others to provide your best options. Don't sacrifice the final lift and shape of your breast for a smaller incision.
