Hello,Thank you for your question. There is not a specific number of times you can treat one area. It is based on what your specific needs are. When you consult with a local provider in person they should be able to give you an estimate of how many times you will need to treat a specific area. Good luck!
As long as there is still adequate "pinch-able" fat in the treatment area, there is no specific limit to how many CoolSculpting applications one can receive. As a general rule, one can expect 20-25% reduction of fat in the treated area per application. The number of applications a patient would need depends on how much fat is in the area to begin with, and how dramatic of a change the patient is looking for. We often recommend waiting at least 3 months in between applications on the same area, so we can fully assess the results of the first treatment and adjust the placement of the applicator if need be.
CoolSculpting, which destroys fat cells by freezing them, can be done as many times as needed to a particular area. I would say the range for most people is between 1-3 sessions, but some people do have more.
Hi, thanks for the question.CoolSculpting can be done on the same area as many times as you like, provided that there is adequate fat in the area to treat. In general, this means you need to have pinchable fat in the area. Remember, with each treatment you will lose 20-25% of the fat, so as the amount of fat treated decreases, you get less of a noticable effect.Best of luck,Michael Kerin MD
Hello and thank you for your question. It all depends on the area that you desire to be treated. Most people in our practice need at least two treatments to each area of the body they are having Coolsculpted. Many patients see a better result with multiple treatments done. I recommend setting up a consultation with a certified Coolsculpting provider to get assessed and determine what the best Coolsculpting treatment plan is best for you. Best of luck!
CoolSculpting is a great alternative to undergoing an invasive procedure, such as liposuction. There is no down time, no risk of infection and you can achieve up to a 40% reduction with a retreatment of the same area. You'll need to have a consultation to determine how many treatments is recommended to get your desired results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a Coolsculpting-certified practitioner. All the best, Dr. Dr. Aggarwal
You can learn more about the CoolSculpting procedure during an assessment. You can be evaluated to see how many times the area can be treated. Ideally a plastic surgeon can remove 100% of the fat cells in the given area but with CoolSculpting it’s about 20% each time you get treated.
There is no limit to the number of times you want to treat any particular area. The only criteria is that you need to wait at least 30 days between each treatment for the same area.
Hello, thanks for the question. CoolSculpting can be done on the same area as long as there is pinchable, grabable fat. At our practice, most patients treat the same area 1 -3 times. Remember, with each treatment you will lose 20-25% of the fat, you can retreat an area as early as 4 weeks after your previous treatment. Your Coolsculpting Specialist will create a personalized treatment plan.
Your history is not contraindicated for Coolsculpting, provided the hernia has been repaired. As long as there is a good grab and enough subcutaneous tissue to treat, you can be treated with CoolSculpting. The treatment would help rid of fat deposits under the chin and contour...
Hi EJC, The type of constant and intense pain following CoolSculpting you appear to be describing is something we see in about 5% of our clients. The timing is usually 5-10 days post treatment. Gabapentin 300mg taken once or twice daily is likely your best answer. Gabapentin is...
Hello, Thank you for your question. You want to feel good during your treatments so you can wait a few days or week between treatments if you prefer. However you may want to speak to your provider and ask them for guidance based on your treatment plan. Good luck!
