Hello, Thank you for your question. You want to feel good during your treatments so you can wait a few days or week between treatments if you prefer. However you may want to speak to your provider and ask them for guidance based on your treatment plan. Good luck! 

Many patients find CoolSculpting treatments soothing and drift off to sleep. However, I haven’t encountered or read any reports of lasting fatigue as a side effect. Perhaps the stress of the procedure and not knowing what it would be like tired you out. You should leave at least a month between your treatments, so you have plenty of time to decide whether you want to go on and get the rest of your sessions. Many times, it takes up to three treatments to achieve the desired results. I’d recommend talking to your primary care physician about this to see if your iron deficiency is being adequately addressed or if there is another cause for fatigue, should it persist. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to perform your CoolSculpting procedure. Partial treatments will result in minimal results. Seek out a practitioner who can deliver the best evaluation and treatment options. An office that is run by a Plastic Surgeon gives you the flexibility and access to a FULL service treatment evaluation and subsequent follow up for achieving the goals that best suit your needs. While age does play a role in loss of elasticity and redundant skin, evaluation by a reliable practitioner can give you the best options if you are a candidate and give you REALISTIC expectations.

Hi,So sorry to read that you had a drained feeling after your treatment. Fatigue is not normally a side effect of coolsculpting but I would check with your hematologist to make sure you are a candidate for this before you finish your cycles. Also, I would make sure you are using a practice with qualified staff that has been trained by Zeltiq, the maker of coolsculpting. 

Hello, thank you for your question. Fatigue is not typically a side effect of the CoolSculpting treatment. I’d encourage you to see your PCP to evaluate what else could be going on that would contribute to your tired/drained symptoms. Do this before your next CoolSculpting treatment to see whether you notice any improvement in your energy levels, then you can decide whether you’d like to continue treatment or not. In my experience, most patients see best results after a series of treatments, so if you feel able to and would like to maximize the benefits, you should go through with the next treatment. While fatigue is not a known side effect of the cryolipolysis procedure, contact your CoolSculpting provider and tell them your concerns. They should be able to help address your concerns.

Hi bgordon456, Anemia is not a clear contraindication for CoolSculpting - but it can make you susceptible to cold and it can get uncomfortable.
