Prices vary depending on what is being offered in the Mini lift procedure. I would recommend you undergo a mini lift with some form of SMAS manipulation to ensure you have a long lasting result. Depending on the use of anesthesia, the cost would be in the $5k-$6k range.
Thank you for your question. The term facelift can be tied to a very specific type or procedure or can represent a catch-all term for facial surgeries. Different facial surgery procedures can be done in isolation or as a combination of procedures and each procedure can help to address individualized concerns with the face. The mini-lift is a more general term to describe a less-invasive approach to a lower facelift. It may do little to affect the appearance of the neck, soften only slightly the jowl region, and usually doesn't do much for nasolabial folds. In addition, the longevity of the procedure may not be the same as a traditional lower facelift depending on how the underlying muscle layers are treated. Typically, the mini-lift can be done under local with or without sedation and hence can reduce the cost of the procedure to the $6000-8000 range. More important than the cost, however, is finding the right surgeon for you and help you assess your concerns and develop an appropriate surgical plan of care for you.
A facelift dealing with the nasolabial fold and marionette lines down to the angle of the jaw I referred to as an upper facelift. This will cost about $6000.
Hi. What you consider a min-facelift may not necessarily be what is required and therefore photos would have been helpful. The price and costs will vary with the area of the country. A facelift in NYC will be much more expensive than in Topeka , KS.Although costs are a consideration, they should never be the deciding factor. Always remember that you can hide anything below the neck but not your face. Always seek out the opinion of a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with years of experience in facelift and eyelid surgery. I have been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since1986 and have performed countless face/ neck lifts and eyelid surgeries. Remember this is your face....can't cover it up! Furthermore request to see before and after photos of previous patients by that doctor....not a clinic or surgery center. Do your homework......research and verify the doctor's credentials. Have they had problems with the Board of Medicine, disciplinary or otherwise. Any law suits? How about the center, clinic or facility? Are they accredited by a national organization or do they just have State approval. Understand that at the current time, there are three nationally recognized organizations responsible for the highest levels of patient safety, AAAASF, AAACH and JCHO. You owe it to yourself to position yourself for the best possible results but under the most stringent safety regulations, If you have kids, even more so.How about anesthesia? Will you have a medical doctor certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or a certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA)? Understand that there is no substitute for research. Cosmetic surgery, no matter how simple it may be to the patients, are invasive procedures and as such carry certain risks and complications. In our office we use TouchMD which is a web based program in which patients have the ability to load their picture unto the program. We accomodate patinets from as far away as California. I then evaluate them and can actually draw on the picture to show a potential patient where the incisions would be located and how the procedure is to be realized. It's all done to comply with HIPPA which is the federal law that protects the patient's medical information. Look them up.Give yourself the highest percentage of a sucssesful operation. Good luck Dr. PG
This differs based on location, practice, and surgeon's experience and reputation. You can expect to pay anywhere from $5000 to $15000 based on the above criteria.
Mini facelift does not address properly jowls, for it you need a standard platismaplasty and SMASplasty lift.
The cost of a facelift will vary widely based on your each person's desired results, operative time, how much surgery is needed, and geographic area you are in. Make sure that you chose a surgeon with experience and the results that you are looking for. Facelift or mini-facelift costs are going to vary from state to state and surgeon to surgeon. I would suggest that you find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area (link below) whose aesthetic is in line with your own and call the office for a quote. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Assuming your proposed "minilift" is a jawline and upper necklift, the price can range anywhere from $4,500-$10,000 (ie in CA). The price in FL is probably in the middle range of this estimate. Be sure that your lift is tightening both the SMAS layer/upper platysma muscle, and tightening the skin. As a general statement, most lower facelifts do not make a significant improvement in the nasolabial folds. These folds are typically best treated with artificial filler such as Radiesse/Juvederm or your natural filler (fat transfer). Price is a consideration when choosing your surgeon, but it should not be the only consideration. One cannot put a price on experience and specialization in this procedure.
Fees vary from region to region, Practice to Practice, depending on Surgeon's experience, techniques utilized, how much excess skin you have, etc.. It is best to seek in person consultation with an experienced Board Certified PS.
