I've had treatments with the vbeam perfecta, was curious if I would see better results with the excel v.
Answer: If port wine stain is moderately red, Vbeam would be the best choice to reduce appearance Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. Schedule a consultation with an expert in Vbeam and you will find it to be an excellent modality for many skin types. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Best Devices for Port Wine Stains I typically prefer the Vbeam for treating vascular concerns like port wine stains. However, both of these devices can be effective when in the hands of the right provider. I encourage you to choose a provider who is board certified and experienced in treating these types of marks. If your doctor is well qualified, you should achieve a good result no matter what device is used.

Answer: Excel V or Vbeam for a Port Wine Stain While either of these lasers can be effective in the right hands, I tend to prefer the Vbeam for treating vascular concerns like port wine stains. This device is safe and effective for treating visible veins, diffuse redness and some birthmarks. The pulsed dye laser emits quick bursts of light that target the blood inside these markings to eliminate them. Most patients do need more than one treatment session to achieve their desired results, but the outcome is very long-lasting. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist who offers a wide array of treatment options. Through a comprehensive examination and discussion of your needs and goals, your doctor will be able to tailor a treatment plan that fits your issues precisely.

Answer: Vbeam or Excel V Hello and thank you for your question. Both of these devices can be excellent choices for minimizing the appearance of port wine stains. I recommend you focus on the experience and expertise of your injector, rather than the specific procedure. This approach typically produces the best possible result, since an expert provider can customize your treatment to your precise needs, skin tone and aesthetic goals.
