Is it normal that I’m on day 5 post Vbeam on my nose and the color hasn’t improved? (photos)

It is not uncommon to have some discoloration in the first week after a V beam treatment for blood vessels on the face.  It is also not unusual for the blood vessels to look worse in the first week or so.  It will take about 6 weeks to have a better idea of what your results will be.  Many people need more than one V beam treatment to obtain the best result as well.  

It's very common for vascular problems to require several treatment sessions.The Vbeam treatment coagulates the blood vessel or capillaries to a degree, but the blood is still pulsing under pressure from the heart, so an absolute closure of a vein from one treatment is not usually something we'd promise.Bruising is a potential side effect. It's smart to avoid all the various things that dilate blood vessels and thin the blood to help reduce the potential for bruising. Before going for another treatment, be sure to ask your doctor's office what supplements you should avoid to help.
