Can too many Vbeam treatments cause more spider veins?

Question

I have now had roughly 5-6 Vbeam laser procedures to treat persistent spider veins on and around my nose as well as on other parts of my face (but mostly my nose). I have seen very little improvement and am convinced that there now more veins than before. Is it possible to have too many Vbeam treatments? Can they cause more veins to appear? Am I just doomed to not be able to treat them?

The best treatments for capillary issues are vascular lasers such as pulsed dye laser, Excel V, Aerolase, Venus Versa IPL, Laser Genesis or Yellow laser. The settings are determined on a per case basis, so it is best to consult with an expert to determine what will work best for you. We often combine vascular lasers with non-ablative fractional lasers such as Clear + Brilliant or Venus Viva for better results. Vascular problems can be a little tricky, but you should see some kind of improvement at this point. Sometimes it's hard to tell subjectively if you've gotten improvement, so before and after photos can be very helpful during the treatment window.Treatment intervals can make a difference, as can treatment energy levels; so can the machine itself if it's not accurately calibrated or in need of servicing.Ethnic and sensitive skin takes longer to treat because energy needs to be dialed down.Does your doctor diagnose you with Rosacea? If so, do you use topical medications for that condition?There are many variables in the treatment of vascular issues.Speak to your physician about your concerns and ask him/her to cover all the bases on why you aren't seeing some improvement.
