I went to my two different physicians regarding the broken capillaries on my nose. One recommended Veinwave and the other recommended the Vbeam. Both procedures are expensive for one small area so I want to pick the best one to treat this area as I’m sure multiple sessions will be needed.
Answer: Choose the most experienced provider for your vein treatment Very good question. However, I would encourage you to look at the experience of your doctor before the specific procedure used. In my practice, we use Vbeam for many of these treatments with excellent results. However, there are other laser devices that might work better for you, based on your skin tone and other factors. Make sure you are working with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist and follow the recommendations you receive from this professional to ensure an optimal outcome.

Answer: Vbeam is a great option for broken capillaries Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. Schedule a consultation with an expert in Vbeam and you will find it to be an excellent modality for many skin types. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Customization and Experience the Keys to a Successful Procedure In my office, we typically use Vbeam for visible veins on the face, since it tends to offer positive results for most of our patients. However, with more than 45 laser devices at my disposal, I am prepared to customize a treatment to the unique needs of each patient for maximum efficacy. I encourage you to consider the experience of the provider above the specific device used, since experience and expertise are usually the primary keys to a safe and successful procedure.

Answer: Customized Treatments Offer Best Results Hello and thank you for your question. In my practice, we frequently use Vbeam for this concern, as the laser is both gentle and effective. However, it is more important to select your treatment based on the experience of the provider, rather than the device itself. I recommend working with a board-certified dermatologist who can accurately assess your condition and customize your treatment to your precise needs and skin tone to ensure an optimal result.

Answer: Sclerotherapy for Varicose Veins / Spider Veins on Legs/Thighs -- combine with Intense Pulsed Light photofacial (IPL), Excel V For varicose veins, we typically recommend a safe, minimally invasive procedure called Sclerotherapy. A salt solution is injected directly into each vein, causing them to collapse and ultimately disappear. For long-term improvement, we often complement Sclerotherapy with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) photofacial and the Excel V laser, which treats both superficial and deep vascular conditions on all skin types. I suggest seeing an expert for a formal evaluation to determine if this is the best solution for you. Best, Dr. Emer
