Or does it just move the entire upper lip towards the nose? Or can I have a choice I have have fillers in my lips and columns right now? But I'm interested in something permanent. Thank you
Answer: Individualizing your Lip Lift Result- how to measure yourself in front of the mirror Practice in front of the mirror by putting your two index fingers under your nose and pulling up gently until you see a distance that you like. Don't worry if the shape of the lip looks funny. If the fingers are too close, it will look like a bunny rabbit because you are pulling mostly in the center and the lateral lip is down. If the fingers are too far apart, it looks like a sneer because you are pulling more on the sides and the center is relatively down. In most cases when measuring for yourself the lip looks a little bit thicker than it will be. The most important thing is to key in on the philtrum length that you like and that it gets you used to what a lip lift can look like on YOUR face. Check out this list of blogposts all dealing with lip lift listed below. The video teaches you about the anatomy of your upper lip, how the markings can be adapted to get a result you want, and how it relates to surgery so you can communicate better with your doctor.

Answer: Lip Lift Candidate The answer is it does both, lifts the upper lip and rolls it out. I treat many patients from other states and countries and would be happy to help. The ideal candidate for the Elelyft, or upper lip lift, is someone with a philtral length of 13mm or longer, no upper dental show, and/or a thin upper lip. The nasal base to mouth width ratio needs to be taken into consideration to avoid leaving the lip corners down. Consult with an experienced lip surgeon for a complete range of options that are appropriate for your situation. Gary Linkov, MD Lip Specialist Manhattan

Answer: Lip lift creates slight upward roll of the upper lip A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. There is a slight degree of upward roll of the upper lip as well. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
