I have been using a face scrub and cream that has activated charcoal in it. I love it and It works really good to keep my skin from breaking out. However, I just started getting botox injections in my forehead. It seems to smooth out my lines and give me great results, but every time I get another injection it is wearing off after two months. Could the activated charcoal extract the botox at a faster rate? Or what could be causing it to fade so quickly?

Answer: Is My Activated Charcoal Face Cream Deactivating Botox? Face Creams Don’t Affect Botox
It is unlikely that your Botox will be affected by injury you have sustained, but always report these events to your practitioner. The full results of your Botox treatment will take approximately 10 to 14 days to settle and you will be able to make an assessment then.
You have both upper eyelid ptosis (worse in left eye) and upper eyelid hollowness. You may benefit from both upper eyelid ptosis surgery and filler injection. See following photo as an example.
If you're unhappy with the effects of BOTOX®, it's certainly possible that returning for a touchup could help even everything out. You may want to wait a week or so to ensure you're seeing the final results of your treatment before scheduling a return visit. Best of luck to you!
