Ever since I've been in school my right eyebrow seems to react on its own and seems to raise itself. Many people always point it out to me and makes me feel self-conscious about myself. I've noticed it happens mainly when I talk, smile, and most drastically when I'm nervous. I have little to no control of it at times, and is something that has bothered me for a while now. Any idea on what can help?

Answer: Botox can help with limiting eyebrow elevation. Please note that the eyebrow movement you have is normal. Each person has their own unique asymmetry and pattern of movement. Botox can definitely help limit the movement of your right eyebrow going up but it must be carefully placed. If it's placed too low - it can sometimes cause a heavy feeling or look low browed. Very important that you go to someone who is very experienced and does many of these injections. Just because the person is a board certified physician doesn't mean they do this well. Ask them how many botox injections they do weekly and it they treat more than 50 patients/week - they're more likely to be proficient.

Answer: Eyebrow Botox can be used to relax the hyperactive eyebrow that is moving. I would go to a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist to address your concern.
