Botox has made the ends of my eyebrows high and the start of my eyebrows really low, can this be correct?

I had Botox done 8d ago &a touch up 1d ago as I still had the frown lines between my eyebrows. I also had one eyebrow higher then the other which she said she can correct by making the other eyebrow higher. But the trouble is they are higher at the ends but the start of my eyebrows in the middle of my forehead are lower& have totally changed my eyeshape. I also had Botox done on my crows ft which has worked & got rid of all the lines there. Will my eyebrow shape still change after the top up?

I think a small amount of Botox injected into lateral forehead area would help this situation and then reassess in 2 wks to let effects settle out before using more Botox.

It is difficult to completely answer your question without knowing exactly where the Botox was injected into your forehead.  However, a touch up injection of Botox to the lateral forehead about the brows should help even out the position of your eyebrows and help them to relax to a more natural position.

This can be easily corrected by injecting more botox laterally over the forehead to relax the muscle on top of the lateral part of the eyebrow. Just have to be careful about the dose and site to avoid eyebrow droop.

Thank you for your question. Botox can definitely affect brow position and we often use this to our advantage to give a lateral brow lift. However, if treated incorrectly you can cause brow ptosis or drooping. It's difficult to determine without before and after photos but it sounds like you may have been treated too high in the central brow causing the medial brow to drop and not enough spaced enough on the side causing a "Spock" deformity. The touch up you received may help this but you need to give it at least 3-5 days to see the effect and I wouldn't recommend another touch up for at least a week. 
Ultimately, the botox will wear off in 3-4 months. If you're not satisfied with your initial treatment I would recommend that you seek out a core specialist (Dermatologist, Plastic or Facial Plastics) trained in injections for a full consultation.

When brows are higher at the ends, giving a "Spock look" it can be corrected with small touch-ups, but since you just had a recent touch up one day ago, I would wait another 2 weeks before going back for further touch-up, it can take time to be fully active. Best, Dr P

Hi mummy2boys2017,It's possible your eyebrow shape will still change after the touch up. Botox can take 1-2 weeks to fully "settle in". It's fairly common (and sometimes desired) to have eyebrow height/shape changes from Botox. However, if there are changes that you don't like, it is often possible to correct them with additional touch ups. If after 2 weeks your eye/brow shape is still bothering you, I would go back in to see your provider again so that he/she can make another adjustment. Sorry to hear you aren't having the most ideal experience. At the very least, know that Botox is strongest at first, but then gradually gets softer over the next weeks and months. Best of luck!

If you're unhappy with the effects of BOTOX®, it's certainly possible that returning for a touchup could help even everything out. You may want to wait a week or so to ensure you're seeing the final results of your treatment before scheduling a return visit. Best of luck to you!

This kind of result happen when there is not enough units in the frowning muscles and more units in crows feet area especially if put under the tail of your eyebrows. Eyebrow tails can be lowered with a little amount of toxin injected on the forehead closer to the eyebrow. Wait 2 weeks and then have an assesment for the latest result.

This is, unfortunately, a common occurrence. It is due to bad placement of the Botox. For now, wait 2 weeks for the "touch up" to take effect and then reassess. I would suggest that next time, you see a different injector. Preferably someone with a lot of experience such as a board certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist. Best of luck.

this can happen when the botox is not placed correctly.  It should be able to be addressed by injecting botox to even out the brows.  You should wait at least 2 weeks after your touch up to assess if the placement was correct.
