Is it safe to have a glass of wine after stomach Botox injection?

Hello, Last month I had stomach Botox injection procedure. I do have daily injection at home Saxenda. My question is safe to have a glass of wine? Won't give any side effects? Thanks Lilly

There is generally no interactions and no contraindications between Botox and alcohol.  However, I would ask your doctor this particular question to be on the safe side.

You should look at your doctor's instructions which were given to you at the time of your procedure. Most likely, they contain some information about do's and don'ts. As far as the Botox and alcohol interaction, there is none and it should be safe to consume a glass of wine.

Hello Lilly,
In general, wine can increase the risk of bleeding/bruising.  Other than bruising, the wine should not interfere with the Botox.  However, most people who enjoy daily glass of wine should not have any problem including bruising.
