Is lipo of my sacrum area necessary for BBL and could not having it affect my result? (Photo)

Liposuction of the sacral triangle area with fat transfer to the areas around that area in the buttocks and hips will likely produce the best result. It is typically included in the cost for the lipo and BBL.

most plastic surgeons include this area in BBL surgery because it can have a significant impact on results of surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Hello and thank you for your question. 360 liposuction of the  abdomen, flanks and lower back (including the pre-sacral fat) is typically part of the BBL. And I believe if you miss one of these areas, your results may be affected. I was not aware of extra-cost for just suctioning the sacral area, as it is such a a small area. Based on your pictures, you are a great candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results.
Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a nice heart shape.
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.
l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Thank you for your question. Suctioning this area is usually part of the BBL. It creates a nice crease where the underwear would rest. I’m not sure why your surgeon would charge extra. I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area for a consultation or obtain a second opinion. Best of luck with your procedure.

Considering the lower back creates the transition from back to buttock, it is an important part to the overall aesthetic and results of your BBL. Not treating your lower back will definitely have a negative impact on the appearance of your BBL. Liposuction is highly complementary and really delivers much if not most of great BBL results. I’ve had patients whose Liposuction results could pass for a BBL results without any fat transfer.
Not including Liposuction of your lower back would be a mistake in my opinion.
Try to negotiate the price if need be. 
Personally I don’t think I would do a BBL without Liposuction of the lower back for those who had a fat pad in this area. I suppose I care enough about my results that I want them to look the best that I am capable of.consider following your surgeons recommendations.I read some of the other responses. Plastic surgeons charge for this procedure in different ways. We typically charge based on the number of areas treated with Liposuction with an ad on fee for the fat transfer.in order to encourage patients to sign up for the best outcome we typically group the entire torso as a single anatomic unit and price this is one area.it is in reality upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, waist, lower back, back and armpits.it’s obviously priced more than another single area like arms.There’s nothing wrong with a plastic surgeon separating out each individual area and charging that way. That is simply how he or she is running their practice. There’s no set standard on how to set prices nor it would prices are fair or should be.What is fairly certain is that including the lower back will definitely enhance a BBL outcome.
