Implants Mentor 295cc Medium height Moderate-plus tear drop, dual plane procedure almost 11 weeks ago. They look great but I wish i'd gone bigger, I know they will take up to 1 year to settle but Will they continue to shrink or will they get a bit bigger once they settle and soften completely? I quite liked the swollen look but as the swelling went down they got smaller. I started with a small B now between a D and DD it depends on the bra.
Answer: Too small after breast augmentation... I'm sorry to hear about the concerns you have after your procedure. You should be aware that a significant percentage of patients at your stage of recovery will feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small. I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image. From the physiological standpoint, it takes many months ( and even up to one year) to see the final results of surgery. factors such as swelling, tissue contraction, skin redraping, implant shifting etc. come into play. You may be pleasantly surprised wants to be "drop and fluff" phenomenon has occurred. From the psychological standpoint, patients undergo an “adaptation period" during which time they get used to the changes that the surgical procedure has brought about. Severe emotional swings can also occur after any type of surgical procedure. Generally speaking, patients undergoing breast augmentation/lifting combination surgery should be aware that there are limits as to how large of a breast implant can be utilized; these limits are based on patients' dimensions and the fact that a breast lifting operation is being performed at the same time. If, in the longer term, you wish to increase breast size further, this can be done much more safely. In your case, I would suggest continued patience and continued close follow-up with your plastic surgeon. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be pleased with long-term.

Answer: Breast implant - shape breast augmentation thank you for posting your question. Depending on the strength and activity of your pectoralis muscle, it will take up to a year to see the final shape of your outcome. Especially the very soft implants will sometimes take a little be longer. try to be patient. In case you would like to exchange them for a larger size, it is best to wait anyway.Kind regards

Answer: 295 cc Mentor Dual Plane. Will they get bigger while settling? or will they continue to shrink? Congratulations on your breast augmentation. You have a beautiful result. At this stage your breasts will not get smaller. The implants may drop a little more underneath the nipple areola which could makeyour inferior pole look fuller.

Answer: Memory Shape (MM+ 295) require more time to "drop & fluff" (6-12 months) Fabulous early results @ 11 weeks. Positioning, symmetry and nipple position look great. As the pectoralis major muscles relax, the implant/muscle+breast tissue interface will "give" and both look and feel more generous. The MS (MM+) are unlikely to "shrink", so hang tight, discuss your concerns with your PS. Do consider what activities, aesthetics, etc are priorities for you. Given your slender frame, opting for larger volume may provide challenges with wardrobes.

Answer: Post-op BA..... Hi Thanks for your question. You appear to have a good and natural appearing result so please don't be disappointed. The swelling is common immediately post-op and dissipate over weeks to months. I do think by now you shouldn't be losing any more volume and you are at your final size. I hope this helps.....
