Is 200/250 cc round mentor silicone enough to add one and half cup size? I'm 4 days post.

Thank you for your question. "Tissue based planning" relies on your chest and breast measurements and is the safest way to ensure good long term results. Your surgeon should determine what size and projection are necessary to give you your desired result based on your body's measurements. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic breast surgery. Congratulations on having undergone the breast augmentation. Your plastic surgeon will be best resource when it comes to accurate assessment, advice, and/or meaningful reassurance. Keep in mind that there is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. For example, I do not think that the generalizations of "200 cc equates to 1 cup" hold any validity or are helpful in any specific or practical way.  In my practice, I ask patients not to communicate their goals, or evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed, based on cup size references.
Given that you are very “fresh” out of surgery,  it is quite likely that you are experiencing significant “emotional ups and downs” unnecessarily. In other words, it is much too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed; your breasts will undoubtedly change over the course of the next several weeks/months.   Many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting.  Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger.
 
Generally speaking, breast implants will "drop" into the pocket that was created during surgery. The rate of breast implant "settling" may depend on factors such as size of breast implant pocket dissected, tightness of the overlying skin/muscle layers, and size of breast implant utilized.  Normally, it takes about 3-6 months (for some patients longer) to see the final result.  As the breast implants "settle", the lower breast poles will round out, and the nipple/areola complexes will sit higher on each breast mound.
 
 
My best advice: rest,  recover, and exercise patience.  Keep in mind, that a significant percentage of patients at your stage in the recovery process feel that they are "too big" or "too small".  In the long run, once patients have adjusted physically and psychologically to their new body image, the vast majority of patients are very pleased. Best wishes.

Anecdotally  it is often said that it takes 150-200cc to increase a cup size. Thus 200 and 250cc implants may well achieve the enlargement that you want. Wait until your implants drop into position-8-12 weeks before evaluating your results.
