Can miraDry be done on the hands and feet?

When will they cure hands and feets with miradry, i saw that you guys said early in 2017 but i dont see that its done? So when do you think they are going to treat hands and feets

We are told MiraDry should be approved for treating the hands in the near future, but no date has been announced as of yet. I have not heard word about approval for the feet. In the meantime, you could try Botox or Dysport to get some relieft until MiraDry is available.

I keep hearing this will happen very soon! The process as you can imagine for FDA clearance is quite long and unpredictable. In the meantime, you can have Dysport.

At this time it is not indicated for these areas. Hopefully an applicator will come out soon, but for now your best option may be Botox. Good luck!

You are correct that a new miradry hand piece is on the way with the ability to treat the hands. Realistically, the process of bringing new technology to the market takes time. The recent acquisition of miramar, the makers of miraDry,  by Sientra last month may also influence the release date.

According to the company that makes MiraDry, they just completed a clinical trial for MiraDry treatment of hand sweating.  They expect MiraDry for hand sweating to be available some time in 2018.  While you are waiting for it to come out, you can do Botox or Dysport treatment for your hand sweating.

The company tells us that they're finalizing protocols and then it will likely be approved within the next year or so. Stay on a waiting list of one of your high volume local Miradry providers and I'm sure there will be an announcement once approved.

According to our MiraDry account executive they are currently testing a MiraDry hand piece to treat the hands and the feet. MiraDry is trying to get it FDA cleared for treatment by next year. We recently did a lunch n learn and one member asked that same question. If it is an area of interest for you I would recommend contacting an office locally that performs MiraDry and getting on their mailing list for updates, new products and procedures. Good luck with your journey.

Can miraDry be used for excessive sweating in the groin area? Are there other treatment areas?
