I had a mastopexy done with Dr. Youn, and I cannot be more satisfied with the results. Both sides look perfect and symmetrical, and I have full feeling in my nipples. Dr. Youn did a very thorough job on the surgery and the preop/postop appointments. The surgery pricing was also surprisingly reasonable. I’m very glad I chose Dr.Youn for my procedure.
He is the absolute best. After significant weight loss I opted for a traditional tummy tuck. I am beyond happy with the results. The most natural looking belly button and the scar healed light and thin. Worth every penny
When I first visited Dr Youn I had 12 year old Allergan implants that were recalled, so I naturally wanted to have them removed or replaced. After doing a lot of research and digging deeper into Breast Implant illness I was 50/50 about removal or exchange. I was hoping to go to Dr Youn for guidance on this matter. Unfortunately when implants that have been in for this long are removed without replacing they can look very deflated and or possibly have the look of an inverted nipple. Dr Youn did not so much help me make the decision, however, he agreed that breast implant Illness is real, and the likelihood of the wrinkled deflated breast after removal without replacement was also possible- even if I was going to the best surgeon. Eventually I decided to replace them, the reason I had them in the first place was to correct my tubular breast deformity and I just did not want to have my old breast shape back with the chance of having it look worse. Now to the actual implants. My old implants were perfect to me- I had the teardrop anatomical shape and I thought there was NO way I would ever like my new implants as much as my old. I was nervous about having the higher bubble shaped breast like many of my friends had after implants. Because I was already so happy with my old breasts I wasn’t settling for a doctor that did ok work, I searched for hours scrutinizing all the before and after pics online, and Dr Youn was the winner by far with more natural looking breasts. As for the actual surgery- I had it in my head that to expect that I would have new breasts, and although they wouldn’t be as good as my old shape, at least they weren’t recalled and they would be done by the best possible surgeon. To my surprise I LOVE my new breasts more than my old- I was not expecting this. Dr Youn took into account my stress about not having the bubble boob and my new breasts (the same size) look even better and more natural than I expected. During surgery Dr Youn did a capsulectomy to remove all old scar tissue and also had a hero moment by rescuing me from an unknown busted implant. This 12 year old silicon implant was completely ruptured inside and you would never have been able to tell from looking at them. I’m so glad I had a board certified surgeon to take care of this during surgery. I could not recommend Dr Youn enough, he is worth the extra $$ and worth the wait!!
I am a 53 year old women who has never had any surgery when I decided to get a tummy tuck. I researched my options and found Dr Youn to be a great fit for me. His holistic approach as well as safety for his patients were the reason I decided to go with him. The surgery went well and I am extremely happy with my results. Dr Youn is a man of few words but his work speaks volumes! He was honest when explaining what he could safely do for my body type and what realistic exceptions I should have, which he totally exceeded! He made himself available for any questions I had and the hospital experience was amazing! Dr. Youn is professional and very skilled.
I am 37 years old, and began my first Botox injection about 7 months ago. I was nervous at first, but the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It took 7-10 days for the full effects of the botox to kick in. My deep forehead lines were invisible by that point, and I saw a noticeable difference in the lines within 24-48 hours. I am extremely happy with my results, which lasted for 4 months before I noticed the lines deepening again (but never as bad as it was prior to my first treatment). Today, I received my second botox treatment and I began to see a visible difference in my forehead wrinkles within 4 hours.
Had some uneveness from a previous lipo that I'm trying to fix. Afraid to get lipo again so I wanted something noninvasive. Procedure was definitely not pain free! But it was not overwhelming. Many say it feels like cramping. Mine felt more like an burn. It will almost feel like it's becoming too much to bear then you'll get a shot of cool temp. You get 8 playing card size attachments that you can put on any flat sized area of your body. I did 3 on my upper abdomen. 4 on my lower. 1 on my upper pubic area. Mild tenderness afterwards sort of like a bruise that is still there now if I push on the areas. I could return to all activity immediately after the procedure. Will post progress pics once I get them. It's only been a week so far. The procedure comes with 2 or treatments per attachment plus 3 radiofrequency treatments between the Sculpsure treatments to "maximize results". Bonus is that radiofrequency may breakdown some of the scar tissue I had from the previous lipo. Updated on 7 Mar 2020: I added some progress pics. I'm not really seeing any change, but it can take up to 12 weeks. I just had my first radiofrequency treatment which is meant to tighten the skin to avoid sagging skin that could happen from rapid weight loss. Not painful at all. The slight tenderness from the initial treatment went away after 1.5 weeks. You can see the lumpiness from initial lipo. Note I had a breast aug at week 2 AFTER the week 2 pics. Trying to lower caloric intake to account for the lessened activity. Updated on 15 Apr 2020: Due to Covid, my last radiofrequency treatment and last Sculpsure treatment has been delayed. Definitely seeing some progress from the first treatment about 8 weeks ago. Especially looking at the progress pics. I've also been watching my diet more and exercising, so it's hard to say what contributes more, but I'd lean towards it all working in unison. I would not rely on this treatment alone. Looking forward to my last treatment when the quarantine is over. Until then, stay safe!
I got my first consultation for a breast lift in 2006, when I was 29. That was five years after I had my son. Unfortunately procrastination and fear are two close friends of mine, and have caused me to not get it done. After years of contemplating, researching and more consultations, I finally decided to get that lift I've always wanted. I decided to go with the lift without implants. I'm currently a 36d and am satisfied with the size, I just need them lifted. I am 4 days away from my surgery and am so nervous. I will be sure to post updates. Updated on 29 Oct 2019: I can’t believe I went through with the surgery today. I’m still in shock and can’t feel the excitement just yet. Dr. Youn was extremely kind and professional and helped put me at ease. He is definitely a master at his craft. He noticed my right breast was ever so slightly larger, and made sure to reduce it so they will now be the same size. I’m home resting, feeling some pain. More so tightness and burning, but not enough to make me take the pain meds. He did put drains in my breast, which need to be emptied every 8 hours. I’ll post pictures in two days at my follow up visit. Updated on 31 Oct 2019: I went and got my tubes out today. I was so scared to look at my breast for the first time since the surgery. I almost passed out from anticipating the worst! I had the nurse take a picture with my phone and show it to me. I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw. No more sagging breast! They look smaller than I was expecting but I will need to wait for them to settle before I can really see the new shape and size. The compression bra is killing me and so uncomfortable. I still feel pain where the stitches are, but it’s tolerable. I go back to the dr next week for them to take the tape off. I’ll post another update after my next visit. Updated on 31 Oct 2019: Updated on 3 Nov 2019: I’m going to the dr tomorrow for him to take the tape off. I got my best sleep last night. I’m either getting used to sleeping on my back or was so tired I just crashed. I will say to anyone getting this done, don’t over do it! It’s so easy to feel good one minute and fine yourself doing more than you should. I did that yesterday and today and am paying the price for it. Very sore from doing too much in the kitchen. It’s so hard to sit still when I’m used to doing so much. I decided to work from home next week. I was supposed to return back to the office, but I’m going to slow down and work from home. I’m taking the Superwoman cape off this week!! Updated on 4 Nov 2019: I went to the dr today to have the tape changed. My breast are healing nicely, however I still have some swelling. One side is larger than the other but he said they should even out once the swelling goes down. I have to go back in two weeks for another checkup. No exercising or lifting heavy objects for the next two weeks. I’ll continue to sleep on my back and wear a surgical bra 24/7. Updated on 12 Nov 2019: It’s been exactly two weeks since my BL. Today is the best day by far. Over the weekend was pretty rough as far as pain, but the burning and sensitivity I was feeling has subsided. I still have a lot of swelling and my left breast is larger than the right, but I’m sure it’s just the swelling. I’m still sleeping on my back, wearing a compression bra and taking all the vitamins my dr gave me. My next appointment is in 6 days, which they will change my tape and provide further instructions on the healing process. I’m still very pleased with the outcome. Updated on 5 Dec 2019: Went to an event tonight and was so excited to wear my dress without a bra! I am 5 weeks post-op and am so happy with my results. I wanted to cry when I put on my dress and didn’t have to worry about finding the right bra to wear to make sure my breast were lifted and not sagging!! I am so happy that I went through with this lift and selected Dr. Youn to perform the surgery.
Deciding to get breast augmentation was one of the hardest decisions I have every made. I have always been unhappy with my breast size and after having kids and breastfeeding, they just got smaller. I was beyond self-conscious. My husband and I did hours and hours of research on breast augmentation before even deciding to schedule a consultation. After making the decision that this was something I was serious about, I researched Dr. Youn, read his reviews and watched his videos. I took the plunge and made my appointment. Dr. Youn is very busy and I had to wait some time to see him, but that also made me feel better as it made me feel that a lot of people wanted him to be their doctor as well! My consultation went well and I felt that Dr. Youn took his time with me, answering all my questions and completing his assessment. After thinking about it more, debating on whether to go with saline or silicone, I made my decision to do the surgery. Scheduling and payment were easy. I was able to come in the office just to try on the different size implants. I had a second consultation to finalize the surgery. I went with silicone implants under the muscle. Dr. Youn's office even provided supplements to take for the best healing possible. I felt that I was given all the information needed to prepare for the surgery and for after surgery. I was very scared on the day of surgery, but my whole experience at the hospital was very pleasant. All of the staff were friendly and Dr. Youn again put me at ease. The day after surgery, Dr. Youn called me to see how I was doing and I received a thank you edible arrangement at my doorstep! I feel that my recovery was just like Dr. Youn had told me. I followed all the instructions that were given to me and took all my supplements. I had multiple follow up appointments and now it has been a year since my surgery. I wanted to be discrete with my implants so I chose natural sized implants for my body type. They feel so soft and real and look very natural. My confidence has improved dramatically and I no longer worry about my chest size. I feel that I healed perfectly. Dr. Youn always has his door open if I were to have any problems. After a year, I am still loving my results! Dr. Youn is extremely knowledgable and definitely put me at ease. I did a lot of research before choosing Dr. Youn, but went with him due to his reviews, experience, knowledge, and all the extra things he does to educate people on plastic surgery and other holistic matters. He truly cares about his patients and what is best for them. My entire experience was pleasant and I feel that Dr. Youn and his staff went above and beyond with everything; from my consults, the surgery, and the followups. I am very grateful for him and my experience. I would recommend him to anyone considering cosmetic procedures.
I recently had an upper and lower blepharoplasty performed by Dr. Youn. I hoped for good results, but Dr Youn exceeded my expectations considerably. I look so much younger than my 63 years, and, best of all, people tell me how "rested," "happy," and "healthy" I look--no one has suspected surgery! Dr Youn's office is friendly, professional, and really put me at ease for this, my first cosmetic surgery experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Youn and his staff to anyone considering plastic surgery. He is truly gifted!
I recently had a breast lift (no implants) with Dr Youn and could not be happier with my results and healing process. I waited almost a year for my consultation because I was told he was the best. He met those expectations and I’m so glad I waited to see him.
Manual manipulation can potentially move filler in the nose and other parts of the face, but I can't imagine that sneezing could do this!
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to reverse the effects of Botox. It is quite common for Botox to have a slightly exaggerated result initially, only to even out within a week or two. Give it time and I suspect that things will improve gradually.
Botox can migrate from the site it was injected. This is a general rule, and it's difficult to know if any type of manual manipulation could increase this risk for someone like you. In general, I recommend my patients avoid exercising the day of the treatment but otherwise normal activity should be ok.
Botox can help improve discomfort caused by headaches, so in that way Botox can treat pain. It's best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist to see how it impacts your individual situation.
Botox can definitely help smooth forehead wrinkles. However, unlike the glabella or crow's feet, Botox injections in the forehead can really alter the appearance of the eyebrows, so it should be done very carefully and tailored to your individual appearance.
