I have a bump on my nose that I would like to reduce with a 5-minute nose job. I love everything else about my nose. Would the 5-minute nose job be a good option for me? How much does it cost and how long does it last? I live in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
Answer: 5 Minute Nose Job Hi and thanks for your question. Most likely, the 5 Minute Nose Job procedure would be a good option for you, but its tough to tell without photos. For the longest duration in a temporary filler, I usually use Voluma and it gives my patients 1.5 to 2 years. Voluma is also reversible at any time with a simple enzyme injection. Once the filler wears off and the nose goes back to its original shape, I give my patients the option of repeating Voluma treatment or going with a permanent filler like Bellafill. This is also a very safe and effective filler, but it does not get dissolved by the body, so it lasts for many years, or, with many people, the rest of their lives.Whether temporary or permanent, Non Surgical Rhinoplasty takes 5 to 15 minutes to perform, involves minimal pain, minimal risk, no downtime or swelling and you can see the results immediately after the procedure. Cost depends on the provider. I charge $2500 for Voluma and include 2 touch up appointments to make sure that the effect persists for the full 2 years. If you do choose to have the 5 Minute Nose Job procedure, make sure to find a physician who is very experienced in specifically this procedure and ask to see their before and after pictures. Hope that helps.

Answer: Please consider re asking your question with photographs. In general, a large dorsal hump would require rhinoplasty surgery. If it is a small profile bump, depending on your examination, fillers may be considered. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Non-surgical nose job The duration of a non-surgical nose job depends on which product is used and what is performed. Injectable fillers around the nose can last 12-18 months for most patients, depending on which product is used and the individual patient's anatomy/metabolism. Over time, the body will break down the filler and the results will slowly go away. If patients are happy with the results, the treatment can always be repeated when the patient is ready. This is a complex procedure that works best for dorsal humps, asymmetry, and droopiness of the nasal tip. Anyone considering this procedure should consult with an expert physician injector who also performs many rhinoplasty surgeries. All the best,

Answer: Liquid Rhinoplasty For A 5 Minute Nose Job Hello, and thank you for your question! More recently liquid rhinoplasty’s have been in high demand and it has been a popular topic. I asses each patient individually and what changes in their features would improve their aesthetics most. We find that most patients looking for a surgical rhinoplasty end up being a great candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty. I have developed a technique of using filler to balance the facial features, referred to as Aesthetic Facial Balancing. This technique that I have created allows patients to get similar results as a surgical rhinoplasty, but with very little recovery time (avoiding residual swelling that can last up to one year) and giving them instant results in less than 20 minutes, with results lasting for up to 6 years. I use a hyaluronic based filler that is extremely safe for patients, and most patients are a good candidate for a liquid rhinoplasty. The cost varies depending on the amount of fillers that you use, and the best thing would be to do a in-office consult to asses specific pricing. I hope this helps! Wishing you fantastic results,Dr. Rian A. Maercks, M.D.

Answer: Nonsurgical Nose Jobs Work Well For Camouflaging Nasal Bridge Bumps I have been performing nonsurgical nose jobs for the past twenty years, since the very early days with Radiance, the forerunner of Radiesse and nowadays with injectable hyaluronic acid volumizer and filler products. When I first started, nonsurgical nose jobs with these products was limited to camouflaging nasal bumps and humps. What was happily discovered is that often by improving the nasal humps, the rest of the nose appeared more tapered. (In time, the uses of nonsurgical, filler rhinoplasty expanded to include elevating droopy nasal tips, correcting nasal spine irregularities left by aggressive surgical nose jobs, and even to improving some forms of side wall asymmetries.) Without at least a profile photo, it is really impossible to say whether this procedure is right for you. However, in general, the short answer to your question is that it is possible to achieve the kind of improvement you desire by this means. In my NY office, I typically choose Restylane Lyft for these purposes, whereas in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available, I would opt for Hyabell. As to how much it would cost, that would depend upon the particular material or materials needed to get the job done, the amounts, the location of treatment and the experience and expertise of the injector. Fees in my neck of the woods may range from 750-1500. The nose is not a place for novice injectors trained to inject simple Restylane or Juvederm into ordinary smile lines. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and insist upon seeing his/her personal before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
