Is it normal for nose fillers to dissolve after 2 months?

We have seen HA fillers last for well over a year in people's noses. That said, some people metabolize hyaluronic acid quicker than others. In many patients, we offer microdroplet Silikon-1000 nasal injections for permanent results. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Thanks for your question!  The type of filler, manipulation and individual patient metabolism can determine how fast a filler dissolves. Please see your injector and have them evaluate your situation. You may need a little touch up.

dermal fillers to the nose, on average, last between 9-12 months depending on the type of filler used.  
Swelling will initially exaggerate your results.  This swelling will dissipate gradually and can take 4-6 weeks to completely resolve. This reduction in swelling can be mistakenly interpreted as the filler dissolving or metabolizing.  
Since you are noticing some issues with the nose, you may require a touch-up. We encourage our patients to come back in 1-3 months after their initial visit so that we can slowly layer the results, make sure all concerns are addressed and produce the most natural looking results possible.

It all depends on the type of filler used and how your body itself metabolizes the filler. I prefer to use Restylane when treating the nose. Most of my patient get 9-12 month longevity with this filler but not all.
