Hi I’m a eighteen year old black woman who is around 5”1/155 cm and I’m 132lbs/60 kg. I’m interested in doing the breast lift and I have very sagging breast and have had saggy breast for 4 years. I used to be heavier and lost a lot of weight. Everyone around me has breast that lift and that look better than mines, my breast are my only self confident issue. I was wondering if I can get them done at my age, I do plan to maybe have children in the future, would that pervent the surgery? Thank you!
Answer: Breast Lift Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, I believe that a breast lift would give you a much better aesthetic. By lifting the breast and nipple, you will be left with a perkier, more youthful appearing breast. There is no contraindication of having a breast lift and having children as the chances of losing breast milk supply in both breasts is extremely unlikely. I recommend speaking with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Answer: Lift You can have a lift at your age. Do remember, that pregnancy can undo any lift. Lifts can always be repeated if needed once you have had all the children you want.

Answer: Breast Lift at 18 Hi compassionate 789790, I completely understand your situation as I see a lot of patients who have done all they can to achieve their ideal body weight but now face a droopy saggy breasts that are stretched out. I do suggest that you do a breast lift because unfortunately these will not improve with non-surgical means. You will need to a procedure that will lift the breasts back up on your chest while adding upper pole fullness and decrease the areola size. At Cosmoplastic Surgery, we have used the "Naturabra" technique that allows for your own breast tissue to act as an internal bra that supports the lifted breast. We just reported our results of the past 18 years of over 700 breast lift cases at the 100th anniversary meeting of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons in San Diego in April 2022.

Answer: Breast lift at 18 Yes, you can elect to have a breast lift at 18.. This will remove excess tissue, reduce the areola and raise the position of the nipple. The lift will not impact your ability to carry a healthy pregnancy, but your results may be influenced by future pregnancies and the lift could potentially impact breastfeeding. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Yes, you can have a lift at 18 but the surgical result could possibly change after childbirth I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, if interested, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author.
