Tubular breasts are characterized by a constriction of tissue around the nipples/areolae. Your photos do not show this.
Dear Randomcarrot, after ecaluate your case I can say than no you do not look like to have tubular/tuberous breast. You will be really benefit from a breast augmentation with implants. Make sure you go on consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Hope this helps and best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia.
You do not have tuberous breasts. Breast and areola shape can vary dramatically without actually being tuberous.
Thank you for your question and photos. Unfortunately your photos are limited in their views and an examination in person would be required to properly address your concerns. That said, the term “tubular breasts” is neither a condition nor an abnormality, but simply a description of a breast with certain features such as a constricted lower pole (short vertical distance between the nipple and the inframammary fold at the bottom in the breast) and a “tube”-like herniation of the subareolar breast tissue. Your photos suggest that your breasts may be relatively small and if you feel you have concerns about your breast size, an evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon is advisable to see if you are a good candidate for breast augmentation. Best of luck to you.
Tuberous breasts are characterized by a constriction of tissue around the nipples and indistinct breast fold. It is difficult to see this in your photo. A side photo would help.
Typically no. Tuberous breast correction is considered a cosmetic procedure in Canada and is probably labeled the same in the UK.
Your photos suggest you may have a very mild form of tuberous or constricted breasts. Confirmation would require an examination by your surgeon. He or she can discuss any options for treatment.
