Is a follow up visit after derma fillers important?

However, that could be influenced by whether or not you have any concerns about your result. Keep in mind that it takes a few weeks to see the full result from your filler injections. I would recommend you discuss with the physician that will do your fillers and follow their recommendations.

Follow up is good to make any adjustments and if you don't like the filler in some regard. If everything is fine, it probably doesn't matter

It would be ideal to have a follow up appointment depending in what areas you are having injection. 100% correction on the first visit is sometimes difficult to get, but significant improvement will be achieved

I have extensive experience with fillers, and if you are unable to make a follow up appointment that is totally fine. The only purpose for a follow up would be to check on the progress and assess any issues that may have come up. If you don't have any issues, there's no need to go back in! I hope this helped!

The value of a follow up visit after a filler treatment is that it gives you the opportunity to ask questions or voice any concerns.  It also gives the surgeon the opportunity to evaluate the treatment to see if any adjustments are needed and to know how the treatment worked in case subtle changes are needed the next time you get a treatment (that is not easy to determine once the filler has eventually worn off.However follow ups are are not mandatory as long as you are satisfied with the result and you don't have any concerns.  The one problem is that it can take up to 2 weeks to see a "final result" due to swelling that sometimes happens with treatment.  So if you are far away at that point you would need to see another cosmetic surgeon to have any adjustments.
