I had my surgery six weeks ago with 550 sicoone unders. My right breast is still riding high and firm. Massaging doesn't seem to be helping. My left side has fluffed and dropped nicely. The bottom of my right breast also seems flappy and empty.
Answer: 6 weeks post op and right breast is still not dropping You are right, it seems the right breast is not dropping. Before you do anything invasive, give this more of a chance for that to happen. I recommend waiting. In the meantime, I might suggest having your surgeon give you a strap. These are straps that help massage the implants in the upper pole of the chest that help bring the implants down. I am not saying this will work with any certainty, but they might just help this process and this will save your from more surgery. Hang in there and be patient.Good luckDr Vasisht

Answer: 6 weeks post op and Right implant is not in good position. I see the problem you are facing. At this time I encourage you to allow for healing to mature. This could take up to 6 months. You probably will need some adjustment to the right side. I hope you chose a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons.

Answer: Implants You need to give you implants 4-6 months to settle. If by then they are not, then you might need a revision.

Answer: Right breast implant sits higher I see why you are concerned. First of all, if you have not discussed this with your surgeon that is the first thing to do. Most Plastic surgeons are going to encourage you to wait for the healing process to maturew ( 6 months form the time of surgery) before considering any surgical intervention.

Answer: #BreastImplants #BreastAugmentation - ask for revision? I would need to see pre-op photos to address this issue fully. And you need to be seen by your surgeon to make sure you are healing well (ie, are the incisions okay)? Implants this size sitting directly on the incisions can cause pressure and impair wound healing.Assuming, though, that you didn't need a lift on one side before (the nipple/areola appears lower, and I'd like to see what it looked like before) and that you are healing well (at the incision sites), then it is reasonable to consider lowering the higher implant. I would generally prefer to wait for 3-6 months following the initial surgery if possible, but that also depends on the extent of the issue. You should be assessed in person by your surgeon and consider a second opinion from a board-certified plastic surgeon just to be sure.I hope that this helps and good luck,Dr. Alan EnglerMember of #RealSelf500
