Doctor Stephanie Stover did my Extended Tummy Tuck and four areas of Lipo on September 28, 2021. She was beyond amazing. From the second that I met her the day before my surgery to this day her bed side manor was extraordinary. When she went in to do my surgery she found a hernia and repaired it. After my surgery she called my sister and explained everything to her. I went in the day after surgery and the week after surgery and she treated me like family. I texted her up until a month after my surgery with any questions i had and she never missed a single text!
My experience with Dr. Stover was more than exceptional, she was kind, gentle, and very attentive. She did a tummy tuck, lipo, and transfer. I am beyond grateful to have found such a lovely doctor. She even provided me her personal phone number for follow-up after returning home to Denver. If I ever decide to get more plastic surgery I will definitely go back to her.
I've had the pleasure of being under Dr. Stover for multiple procedures since 2015. Rhinoplasty, Pectoral Implants, Liposuction, Browlift, BBL,and Fat Grafting to the Face. She is amazing at what she does and I've been very happy with my results.

Also, if you want to go for a natural look, she’s the one you got to go after! I’ve been documenting my whole experience on my YouTube channel Lipstickfables. I'm scheduled with Dr Stephanie Stover for Sx on September 21st. I've done all the test needed a little late just hoping all came back great so I can get cleared from my doctor to get my sx. I'm nervous and happy and anxious as everyone's body is different and I don't know how my results would turnout. We see pics all over this site and everyone's results are all different. I believe I got everything: Zinc Arnica pills and gel Bromeliad Pineapple juice Stool softeners Fajas - As two is what I read is best to have Bras - have 2 surgical and a bunch of zip front sports bra. A wahl massager to give myself lymphatic massages after my 5th massage Pain pills Robes to easily dress after showers Lots of dresses as it will be easier to get in and out of A vacation home for a week and being my partner in crime to help care for me. I have read many reviews and It seems the first couple of days are the worst but after that it's manageable. I have posted my pre pictures and once I get my sx I will post my post pics. Updated on 14 Sep 2019: Went to the doctor and my white blood cell counts were higher than normal so they didn’t clear me for surgery. Had to go do another blood test and hope to God that one comes out better. Sx is in one week and I haven’t been cleared. This is both stressful and exciting. Monday or Tuesday I would know if I get cleared for surgery. Well hope I get good news! Updated on 19 Sep 2019: Cleared and ready for Sx. Lay minute running around with a chicken without a head but got cleared and without thinking about surgery date arrived. Updated on 22 Sep 2019: Surgery started at 8:30am I didn’t come out till 3pm. Had the BBL and breast lift with implants done. When I woke up the Pain was real as well as the uncomfortableness. Took my pain pill once I got in the car. The anesthesia in my body lasted till 6pm. When I woke up pain wasn’t bad on a scale from 1 - 10 it was a 6. Ate some soup and took half a pill. I will tell you this get the doctor to give you Zofran for the nausea. Cause you will feel nauseated but once I took the Zofran I wasn’t nauseated the rest of the night. You dose off a lot but really don’t sleep much. The throbbing gets you up. Since I had breast lift with implants I couldn’t sleep face down. So I had to buy a high wedge pillow and a boppy pillow so I could sleep facing up. Ladies the struggle was real every time I had to get up to pee. Now once in the restroom to pee I lifted the seat cover and sat on the toilet without it and my butt fitted perfectly. Getting up was no problem and 5 months prior I started going to the gym to work out my legs and thank god for that because it was easy to lift myself up. I am not able to walk around unsupported because you feel weak. Threw out RealSelf not many people talk about the pain and discomfort you go through on the first day. It’s definitely no joy ride. But is done and it only gets better from here. I will post pics once I can get my mama from being nervous :)! Updated on 23 Sep 2019: Today I got to see Dr Stover all looks swollen but light bruising. So overall I’m happy and once all the swelling goes down I should be great. Got the first lymphatic massage today and it did hurt a little when the sore spots were rubbed. Pain was bearable nothing to bad. And it is definitely needed to drain out the liquids after surgery. Today I walked around the grocery store and managed to walk a little with out feeling tired but after getting the massage it put me down. I came straight to sleep. Hoping Day 4 gets better. Updated on 24 Sep 2019: So I finally was able to stand up to take some pics I will put some more up once the swelling goes down. I have a foam board for my stomach and a foam board for my back. It has definitely helped with the swelling in my back and keeping my stomach flat. Today I have a little more energy thank god for my mother she has been my nurse during this surgery. She made me some juice today, Beets, Carrots, Pineapple and spinach. It doesn’t taste the best but it made me feel a lot better. Too all the ladies who have gone through this or will go through this let me tell you the bowel movement no one really wants to talk about but it’s like going into labor all over again. Lol J/K but you do take little stuff like that for granted and when you finally able to go oh feel like you achieve something huge. Lol I got a massage today and it’s till very painful especially in the areas where you have had the lipo inserted. But bruising does seem as it has faded. Anyone else forcing themselves to eat? Since I got operated on I lost my appetite. I’ve been drinking activia yogurts, pineapple juice and water. And walking around the house so I continue to build my strength. Updated on 25 Sep 2019: I had up and downs last night had a terrible night and when I did my massage I almost passed out. Pain pill don’t kick in fast enough and then when it did I felt nauseous and dizzy. Overall Morning was vey bad. I sleep the whole day today I think yesterday I did the most. Walking around the house and doing things on my own and by night I really paid for it all. So back on the pain pill every four hours to subside the pain. I finally was able to get in some pics and I’m very happy with my outcome although I’m very swollen till. I have posted pics and will continue to do so. I also have to recommend juicing (beets, carrots, spinach, pineapple) I started yesterday now the taste is not the best but it has definitely helped me along with the Iron pills I’ve been taking at night. Most important thing is to gain back my strength so I can get back to work on Monday and that there will be a mission. But rating Dr Stover I give her a 10 she is very knowledgeable with her work and she is very caring. Beautiful person overall!! Updated on 28 Sep 2019: I thought heading back home would be a mission and when I got there I would be in serious pain and be all stuffed up. I’m so happy to say I wasn’t. I’m no longer taking the prescription meds and just take Tylenol when I believe I need it. Now let me tell you my mission with the faja. A bad faja doesn’t allow you to get or even see the result you need to see. It doesn’t help compressing the areas where the there is a lot of fluids. So I had purchased a faja at Xiluet Plastic Surgery and it was terrible. It sucked pretty much, after the massages I should have been feeling some relief but I wasn’t. I kept feeling stiffness and soreness. On Day 5 I decided to visit a local sore coming out my massage and they sold the real Colombian Fajas. Well they not cheap but I tell you this well worth it. I got to the house I was renting took a shower and put the new faja I had purchased and went to sleep because after the massage I felt drained. Two hours later I woke up and went to urinate and the amount of liquid that I had to urinate was crazy. I felt a lot better with the new faja and am seeing now better results. I will post pics on week 2 my bruising decided to spread and it doesn’t look pretty. But ladies a real good faja makes all the difference. Yes they are uncomfortable to sleep in but it makes a huge difference to tell you that I travel back home with it and I am not sore or stiff and feel great. Week 1 Recovery was no joke I had good days and than I had bad days but moving forward all in stages. Updated on 30 Sep 2019: It does get better! I step out today and went to do a pedicure and a lymphatic massage. Oh I’m starting to feel like myself a little at a time. Everything comes in stages and I don’t have my full energy as of yet but at least I am able to move around. I have purchased a boppy pillow that my mother rigged for me :)! She stuffed it more so that I can sit on it without it touching any surface. The booty pillow surface is too hard and uncomfortable so I have stayed with the boppy pillow instead. Appetite is still not there but ladies we have to feed the fat so we lose less than necessary. So lots of protein shakes and meats with vegetables. I will be updating with pics soon bruising is still bad and want that to subside before posting pics. Updated on 2 Oct 2019: I have decided to continue doing lymphatic massages through week 6. I still have so much build up fluids I feel the bumps of fluids on my back. My swelling is still bad but I’m drinking lots of fluids and this week I’m scheduled for 3 lymphatic massages. Hopefully by next week I can bring the massage down to two a week. Energy levels are still not back to normal but It will be back in time. I’m taking daily multi vitamins, arnica pills, and my iron pills. Bruising is start to go away still not 100 percent but way better than week 1. The faja is everything I tell you it has helped hold it all in and keep it in place. Lol! Updated on 2 Oct 2019: I forgot to post updated pics.
I had bbl 360 with Dr Stover on 5/22/19. She was phenomenal. Her bed side manner was great and she took her time with me. I let her know I wanted a more natural look and not to focus on a big ol butt! My concern was my stomach and back more than anything. I’m now 13 days post op and starting to feel a little better. But last week OMG! I felt like I got hit by a bus. From what everyone is saying to me I’m doing pretty good post op. Im not just laid out I’m able to move and do things for myself. I didn’t need wheel chair assistance at airport like I thought I would. I’m happy with my results I just can’t wait until I heal. I’m so swollen and it’s so annoying. Wearing this garnet with foams and abdominal board is the worst ever. Esp 3 days ago it was so hot I had to take them off for a bit which was the worst thing I could have done. I kept my garment off for 5 hours and I swelled up so bad. Please don’t do this you will regret it! Overall I’m taking it one day at a time. And I’ll follow up later ladies. Updated on 21 Jun 2019: Hello ladies I’m 4 weeks post op and feeling much better! I’m still sore a little but mainly just feels stiff in my back and stomach. I’m able to move around faster and bend over now. Next week I’ll be taking my kids to Disney so I decided to utilize my free follow ups for a year with dr Stover, to have my One month follow up appointment. I didn’t get to take pics this week but I have 3weeks post op pics and I’ll upload more next week when I’m on vacation. Also I’m not taking anymore pain meds but I do take the arnica gel and tabs by mouth. I still swell in my stomach area I can’t wait for that to stop..but I’m happy with my results and I just have to keep compressing to give me that snatch look I’m hoping for.
I had a hard time finding info for Dr Stover from other patients as opposed to other Dr’s on here so I thought I should definitely do this review for you ladies. I had lipo360 with BBL on 02/06/2019 with Dr Stover. I wanted a double board certified ps that was female, who’s results I found online I felt matched my body type & I liked the results. It was at Avana Plastic Surgery in Miami (I’ll do a separate review for the center) & I came from out of state for this procedure. The day I flew in I had my preop & to sum it up she is amazing. I was scared (who wouldn’t be?!) but she immediately put me at ease. She is warm, personable, relatable, direct & just so sweet. I felt confident w selecting her as my surgeon. I was never rushed, we spoke at length about what I wanted (natural - just wanted my oomph back) and what she could achieve. I initially wanted the bbl w ba but after discussing this she stated I really was ok breast wise and doin just the bbl would allow her to take more fat than if I did both procedures. I’m chesty anyway so I wasn’t going for size just...oomph lol- We agreed that the results I wanted would require more lipo than having both procedures would allow. I really felt like she took a good honest look at me and provided me with her best professional assessment. So just a BBL w lipo 360 it was. She gave me my Rx for my aftercare meds at the preop. I had my surgery early the next morning & she was very patient and explained everything that was going to happen, marked me up & then off to surgery we went. The next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery area and she came over and said everything went great I will look natural and they were able to get 2.8 liters of fat from the lipo. This was great because with the ba I think it was a limit of only 1 liter. Went back to the Airbnb (which I highly recommend if you are able to have someone with you or one of the nurses that come to you. IDK about you but I like privacy when I am in pain, looking crazy, with my butt on the air) and passed out- had my follow up the next day. Dr Stover got held up in surgery at the other center she works in so her assistant (also an MD) came and checked me out to make sure all was well, gave me direction on how to care for myself in this early part of recovery & make sure my pain meds were adequate(they were) a week later was my last post op and Dr Stover was very happy with my results. I was swolen, bruised (that was scary looking for sure! Like someone caugh me down a dark alley with a bat bad lol), & tender but my stomach was flat and my back was smooth - my butt was huge and I was a little panicky but she assured me it would go down. Answered allllll my questions (yes the lumps and bumps will go away- they did. Yes my butt will drop lower & get soft - it did. And so on.) She gave me a new Rx to get filled to take home with me & a letter for the airport in case I wanted assistance (I didn’t - I was ok but there were clearly other girls getting on my flight who also had a bbl & they were brought over in wheelchairs so if I needed/wanted that it was available) and her direct cell number. She even followed up later that evening to make sure I made it home ok, was feeling good. What doctor you know does that?! Anyway I am now 2 months post op and I am in love with my results. Still a little tender, numb on places and a little bit swolen so I know it will keep improving too. It’s everything I wanted. Natural but definitely so much more defined. I wish I had gotten a little lipo on my thighs but it wasn’t a focus at the time. She even asked about them but I was like no... I like my thick thighs let’s leave those alone lol. Still my results are amazing - I highly recommend her as long as you have realistic expectations & lean more towards natural results. She is good at what she does and has a passion for it which shows in the quality of her work. Updated on 21 May 2019: I finally figured out how to upload pics. Well kinda- it looks like no matter how I try to crop it or resize it cuts off the outside of the pics so I hope you guys can see & they upload correctly- (I’m doing this from my phone) I haven’t taken any recently without clothes on & but I will so you can get an idea of how things progress. I never thought I’d post these but here they go....???? I am 5’7 & 180 lbs. Top left before. (????) Top right is the day after. (????)Bottom left is 2 weeks post. (????)Bottom right is 6 weeks post. (????) I realized after the fact they are flipped because someone took the top 2 of me while I took the bottom 2 of myself in the mirror. I’m 3 months out now and mostly healed. I still have some numb spots on my back and sides but nothing like before. Every now and again I feel a burn/ pulling feeling on my skin but it’s just the nerves doing their healing thing. I work out but I can’t run...or jump...basically if my butt does a hard “bounce” it still hurts but I’m sure that will go away with time. If I wear my compression garment while working out the “bounce” doesn’t hurt. Dr Stover is still amazing- I send her pictures and questions (she gives her personal cell number after surgery) and she responds every time and is happy with my progress (me too!!) I wish I did this sooner! The ability to throw on some clothes without having to hide this, or cover that, make sure this holds this in- is so freeing. I try to answer all my direct messages so feel free to shoot me any questions. I just might take a day or so to get back to you.
You need to make sure you will be traveling at least 5-7 days post op also it is very important to stand up on the plane and walk 5 minutes at least every 30 minutes to avoid blood clots make sure in order to help your results use a Bbl pillow or any other type of cushion.
When the proper time arrives you will need a revision to fill in the laterals and provide you with a wider hip impression also shape the entire buttocks top and bottom.
You are only four weeks post op you will be experiencing all types of different discomforts the itching can be because of the garment you should consider maybe putting a thin tank top under your garment to prevent the skin from having direct contact with the material of the garment also lipo foams will help avoid contact as well pain is normal your body is still sore and in recovery process best of luck and make sure to go see your surgeon if you have any additional questions or concerns.
You should first consider doing the Brazilian Butt Lift to be able to harvest all as much fat as possible from your body and then proceed with the tummy tuck to eliminate all excessive skin remaining in your abdomen best of wishes.
Thank you for your question, for your massage's i recommend patients stand up during the sessions like this you avoid putting pressure in your buttocks area and avoid discomfort hope this information helps you good luck!
