Follow-Up: Can you tear and damage a tummy tuck that has been completely healed for 15 years?

Doubt that fall caused damage to your TT but 15 years have passed and hernias, muscle laxity with natural aging can occur. I recommend you see anASPS surgeon or general surgeon to evaluate a possible hernia. 

I doubt that you tore the sutures or muscle, but of course, it is a possibility.  A physical exam usually answers most questions.  It could have been a tear or weakening secondary to the fall, or normal weakening of the muscles with normal aging.Best of luckDr T

It is possible that you do have a hernia or damaged the muscles as a consequence of your fall. However, there could be a completely different etiology for these symptoms. This should be worked up by your physicians, both plastic surgeon and internist.

You may have developed gradual weakening of your muscle repair which is normal with age and over time. Best to get checked out in person. Good luck.
