The cost for breast augmentation varies based on geographic location, surgeon, facility where the surgery is performed, and type of breast implants you will be receiving. There are usually separate fees for the surgeon, the facility, anesthesia and the implants. Typically our breast augmentations start around $7500+ total and we have found in San Francisco our pricing is considered to be about average. I would be weary of choosing a surgeon solely based off pricing. You want to make sure your plastic surgeon is board certified, well experienced with breast augmentation, and is someone you are comfortable with. We recommend asking to speak with 1-2 of the surgeon's patients who have had breast augmentation to see what their experience was like, it really helps!
The cost of breast implants in Dallas ranges from the 4k range (OB/GYN or some other unqualified surgeon) to 10k (a marketing strategy: people associate high cost with high quality). To assure a reasonable result without needlessly breaking the bank you should look for pricing the 6-7k range for Silicone and slightly lower for Saline, 5.5-6.5. You should always look for a board Certified Plastic Surgeon who does breast augmentation frequently. Hope that helps!
Hello and thanks for your question. Prices vary from region to region and practice to practice. See a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Best, Dr. ALDO.
The cost will of course vary greatly amongst doctors and geographical areas. In my practice, in Massachusetts, saline implants cost about $5400 and silicone implants cost about $7600. This price includes the surgeon's fee, the anesthesiologists fee, the facility fee, and any required follow-up for a year.
An augmentation alone can cost between $5-7000, including implants, surgeons fees, OR and anesthesia.
Hi. The answer to your question is multifactorial. It is dependent on the area of the country, the experience of the surgeon and her or his ability to turn out consistent great results.Saline vs Silicone. It is unreasonable to think a breast augmentation will cost the same in Arkansas than in New York City.In Miami, prices will vary greatly from as low as $2500 to $5000. It's a very tricky market. Miami is filled with mom and pop cosmetic surgery clinics who are owned by business entrepreneurs who utilize "rent-a-docs". The surgeons do not have private practices of their own and depend on volume to make ends meet. I would caution anyone......buyer beware. Do research, research and more research. Are you willing to travel? I am certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and have practiced in the"land of breast implants", Miami, for the past 29 years. I encourage you to look up the surgeon you eventually select and make sure they have years of experience in performing cosmetic breast surgery. Furthermore request to see before and after photos of previous patients by that doctor....not a clinic or surgery center. Do your homework......research and verify the doctor's credentials. Have they had problems with the Board of Medicine, disciplinary or otherwise. Any law suits? How about the center, clinic or facility? Are they accredited by a national organization or do they just have State approval. Understand that at the current time, there are three nationally recognized organizations responsible for the highest levels of patient safety, AAAASF, AAACH and JCHO. You owe it to yourself to position yourself for the best possible results but under the most stringent safety regulations, If you have kids, even more so.How about anesthesia? Will you have a medical doctor certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or a certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA)? Understand that there is no substitute for research. Cosmetic surgery, no matter how simple it may be to the patients, are invasive procedures and as such carry certain risks and complications.I wish you the best on your journey. I hope that the info provided has been helpful. Should you require any further clarification, do not hesitate to contact our institute. I answer all questions personally, not through patient coordinators or other marketing individuals. In our office we use TouchMD which is a web based program in which patients have the ability to load their picture unto the program. I then evaluate them and can actually draw on the picture to show a potential patient where the incisions would be located and how the procedure is to be realized. It's all done to comply with HIPPA which is the federal law that protects the patient's medical information. Look them up. Good luck Dr PG
Hello, implants can cost $5500 - $8000 depending on the type of implants, surgical procedure, and the surgeon. Usually there is not an increased fee for larger implants. However, silicone gel implants are more expensive than saline implants.
Hi, thank you for yourquestion. The costs associated with breast augmentation are based on severalfactors which include: the time allotted for the procedure, type of implants, surgeon and facility fees – surgeon and facility fees will vary depending on yourlocation and the type of facility. The first step is to find a board-certifiedsurgeon who you feel comfortable and decide if you are a good candidate for abreast augmentation. Your health history will be considered for safety reasons,in my practice, patient safety is our number one priority. Best of luck to you.
Hello, the cost for breast enhancement surgery will vary depending on geographic location. In the Tampa Bay area, the cost for surgery is about $6,500. This includes the surgery (surgeon's fees), facility, anesthesia and breast implants. You will also want to make sure that your surgery includes all follow up appointments. If you are considering breast enhancement surgery I recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck to you.
When it comes to cost of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider, type of breast implants… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites (including attached link) as well.In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. Best wishes.
Wow you are stressing over only 25 cc's, if it was 100 cc's than you have an issue. 25 really not a big difference. Going larger means by at least a 100 cc's.. Best to seek more in person opinions...
For high riding implants, a bandeau can be worn for 4-8 weeks to help accelerate their descent.
The problem was more common with large saline implants, especially the expandable type. As more fluid was added and expanded it not only stretched the breast but in some cases deformed the surface below due to the expansion pressure. It would be very rare in a large gel implant placed at surgery...
