Plastic surgeons have different reasons and thoughts on wearing a strap after breast augmentation. It is very important that you speak with your own plastic surgeon regarding how long this should say on.
I recommend consulting your surgeonon this matter as most surgeons have slightly differing opinions on matterssuch as this one. In my practice, I recommend that my patients wear acompression bra for six weeks after surgery. It would be best for you to followyour plastic surgeon’s instructions exactly to ensure the best results possible.Best regards.
This is a question that can only be answered by your doctor, because length of time needed to wear the bandeau strap is based on how the implants are settling. Be sure to follow up with your doctor. Hope you are enjoying your results!Dr. JSB

Hi. I'm my office it varies and the progress of the implants and how ell they are settling. As a rule of thumb , I have my patients use it for the first 4 weeks. Sometimes after a week I stop the use of the band. I see my patients at every single post op appointment and I am able to assess how the implants are settling. Good luck, Dr PG

I do not usually recommend a bandeau strap after a breast augmentation. It is best to ask your surgeon what his post-op instructions are.
