Is it normal for incisions after BA to sting so much?

It seems you have little to worry about after your augmentation. A stinging feeling is natural and you will not always have the same tenderness on both sides. Just make sure that there is nothing rubbing the area and you should be okay as you continue your healing process.

Hello noni123. Stinging or burning sensations in breast augmentation are common. They go away with time. I For my patients, I recommend some gentle vibration therapy with an electric toothbrush and this seems to work for them. Talk to your surgeon see what they recommend. Dr. ALDO.

It is common for there to be stinging or "electrical shooting" pains after breast augmentation.  This is usually not constant and is related to irritation of the nerves during surgery.  It can take a number of weeks to fully resolve.  Keep monitoring your incisions and if there are any signs of infection (redness, swelling, drainage, or separation) notify your surgeon.  You can discuss with your surgeon whether they can recommend or give you a different style of post op bra that might irritate your incisions less. 

It is very common for the incisions to sting after incisions. The stinging you are experiencing is nerve related and will subside with time.
